We updated three areas in our yard. Walkway/Fire Pit We added a paved walkway to our new fire-pit space. I can see the team (yes team- at one time I saw at least 5 members working) taking the time to do it right. Measuring .... Making sure the fire-pit was level.... Making sure the grass had seeds to repair the area. I absolutely love having s'mores night. Chicken coop border beautification- Our newly erected chicken coop area needed some work to "finish" the space. John and his team created a border and filled it with stone. He was also able to help us with sand and dirt for the ladies. Love the way the area looks. Nap nook We had an area that was an eye sore with a ton of stuff. John and his team cleared (moved the bricks and stones) the area and helped make it cozy for a nice afternoon nap. The border and the small stones help finish the area we ignored for years. I'm so glad we used Zizzlo Landscape. We love our new yard spaces. Price was very fair. I also loved how I changed my mind a few times w the design and John was always helpful. Team cleaned up and put down plenty of new seeds. Grass looks lovely! Definitely recommend. Can't wait to entertain !!.

Thomas spent about 90 minutes with us discussing options, and was the only contractor to suggest tearing out the existing driveway and starting from scratch, so that issues under the surface could be addressed (other contractors only wanted to fill in the dips with gravel, and then resurface the existing driveway. When I asked others to include a belgian block section and address some cracks in the sidewalk they refused because the "only do asphalt". Thomas was onsite for the entire project spanning 2 days. He was attentive to every detail, and the end result shows the quality of workmanship. I highly recommend Setco / Thomas for pavement and driveway work.

My experience with GrassWorks has been excellent from start to finish. Throughout, Jim Campbell…read moreand his crew were responsive, informative, punctual and professional. Soon after an on-site evaluation, Jim provided a detailed line-estimate that was very competitive. The projects involved hardscaping, drainage and landscaping. The work included installation of a brick paver walkway alongside the driveway; installation of a catch basin and corrugated solid drainpipe to reroute the drainage from the HVAC system away from the house and foundation; removal of a large forsythia bush; creation of mulch beds around existing shrubbery; and installation of an extensive patch of perennial ground cover on a mulch bed. Jim's crew worked diligently and efficiently to complete the multiple projects in a single day, despite the problem presented when cracks in the 43 feet of thick metal drainage pipe were discovered during the excavation to install the sub-grade and base for the paver walkway. Jim quickly and effectively resolved the problem by replacing the old broken pipe with corrugated solid drainpipe and a pop-up emitter, which required an unscheduled run to the supply store. When the job was finished, the crew was meticulous in hauling and dumping all the debris and watering and cleaning up the work area--a welcome conclusion to a job well done. Grassworks not only met my expectations, they exceeded them. I would not hesitate to use their services again and would highly recommend them with confidence to others as well.
