Let me start with I wouldn't send my dog to Dr Alfieri. He is rude, nasty and condescending. He…read morewalked in the office and told my husband I see you brought your mother. I visited him for vein reflux and was told it wouldn't work because of my genetics (being overweight) . He proceeded to tell me to use Ozempic when I explained that I had used it and because I have Barrettes esophagus it made me extremely sick, he told me I didn't try hard enough and was lazy then I explained my Gastroenterologist told me I cannot use it. Dr Alfieri proceeded to tell me that the doctor doesn't know what he was talking about. I told him I was offended and he continued to tell me that I chose all the wrong doctors and should use his office for everything. I would rather die without a doctor than go to him. Should you choose to use him I warn you proceed with caution and NEVER let him do any procedures in his office because I was told that that is the easiest way to get blood clots. I do have to say any staff I dealt with were very nice.

Would give it a no star if I could…read more Note: this review dates back to 2020, but I had to delete because I worked in an Alfieri-owned building for awhile, so I deleted it. My mom went to the Foulk rd location but had to come here for a stress test. They kicked me out during the pandemic despite me being her interpreter. Told me they can get their own via their app. I was already on the highway when they called me and said they couldn't get one for her language, called me again when I was home in Wilmington to help interpret. That's when i heard inappropriate attitudes/behavior in the background. Sighing and laughing at my mom's "grandma bag". A few days later my mom was in tears telling me what happened. After her test, the tech ripped the leads off her from across the room. When my mom tried to point out that she missed a few, the tech told her to get it herself. I wrote a review on yelp (which I also deleted but will put it back up) and someone reached out to me (I still have the message as proof) with a name and number to call to report the mess. I followed through on my end but nothing happened. My point of contact ended up "leaving" according to the front desk. If you're a colored person who dont speak english, stay away or don't bring your non-English speaking family member here. God knows what they're saying or doing behind closed doors.

He…read morehas a large knot on his head (bigger than the size of a golf ball), a severe headache, shoulder pain (possibly from the fall), and likely a concussion. Despite clearly reporting this at the front desk -- not once, but three separate times -- staff chose to do a multiple general physicals instead of immediately checking his blood pressure, blood sugar, pupil responsiveness, or any basic neurological assessment. After nearly two hours of waiting, a staff member at the front desk made an announcement: "If you're here as a walk-in, it's going to be a long wait. You'll continue to be pushed back for every scheduled patient who comes in. Sorry, that's just how it works." I understand the importance of honoring scheduled appointments. But this wasn't a routine visit -- it was an urgent situation. His fall wasn't planned, and a system that lacks triage for potentially time-sensitive injuries is deeply flawed. Ironically, there's a sign posted stating... If you have a head injury, fall, or loss of consciousness, etc please notify the staff. We did exactly that -- three times -- and were still left to wait without appropriate evaluation. We left to pursue care elsewhere. Before CCHS continues to expand or take on more responsibilities, maybe it's time to ensure the current patients / facilities are actually being cared for properly.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT and should be put out of…read morebusiness. I disagree with with Raven - Coventry Healthcare of Georgia is not entirely separate from First Health and Coventry in other states. They are all interconnected, and if you have an issue, you will have to deal with their nation-wide customer service - which is HORRENDOUS. The only thing that changes is your network of providers state to state. Example 1) I called Customer Service to change my address and phone TEN (yes, exactly 10) and the issue has STILL not been resolved. My address changed after the 9th time, but my phone number is still incorrect. Each time, I spent over an hour on the phone. Their staff is completely incompetent. 2) I have asked to speak to a supervisor, and all they do is put you on hold again, twiddle their thumbs and hang up on you. You call back again - "Oh, we'll get a supervisor to call you back sometime when he's free." This is after I waited 3 hours on hold and being transferred from inept person to inept person. I was subsequently hung up on. No one ever called me - perhaps because after 9 times, they still failed to update my phone number! HOW IS IT THAT HARD??? 3) Coventry will find ANY excuse to investigate your claim and NOT PAY for basic services that are "covered" in your plan. (ie, blood work, doctor's visits, MRIs, etc) In fact, Coventry has refused to pay for ANY of my medical expenses I incurred in the past few months (even though it was through preferred providers and supposedly approved) because they are incorrectly convinced I have a pre-existing condition. The situation is completely ridiculous. Knowing I was not at fault, I signed the release form so that the doctor I saw would release my "medical history" to Coventry. The doctor soon sent them my information (which said I hadn't seen them before and nothing was wrong). Months later, Coventry still refuses to admit that they received the information and continued to harass me. I called MRS Research Services, a company that works with Coventry that had processed my forms. MRS confirmed that yes, Coventry had received the note from the doctor that confirmed I did not have a pre-existing condition. Now they are demanding my records from Planned Parenthood. Like the other clinic, I went there once, for a refill on birth control and for a minor yeast infection. I did have some health problems this winter, (WHEN I WAS ALREADY COVERED FOR MONTHS) but I don't have a a pre-existing condition. They will find nothing to substantiate their investigation. However, getting the forms and information processed from Planned Parenthood is going to take months considering how completely inept Coventry is, and I have several hospitals/doctors harassing me for payment. Which brings me to #4... 4) I have multiple doctors harassing me every day because Coventry didn't cover basic services that were covered in my $300+ individual plan!! I've asked for a 30 day extension and it's been granted for the bills, but Coventry knows that if they delay the situation long enough, I might be held responsible. That is not happening. They are responsible, and I will continue to fight. 5) I've been calling for months and can't get a hold of a darn supervisor!!! In fact, I can't count how many hours I've spent on the phone trying to work out these issues. I have been polite and regardless, I deserve better service. IN CONCLUSION... If you want your life to become a complete nightmare, your bank accounts drained, and to feed a bloodsucking scam of a company, sign up for Coventry Health Insurance.
