Our cake came out great. Received excellent service and exactly what I asked for. The look and…read moretaste were a great quality and will definitely go back for another custom cake or some other treats. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

As I'm writing this review, I've realized something about myself: I have the personality of a…read morehigh‑stakes gambler. I rolled the dice on the Good Cake Company for a very, very, very important occasion--my grandbaby's second birthday. Here's the wild part: I'd never tasted her cakes! The day I placed the order, I was on day three of a five‑day fast. No samples. No safety net. Just and--if I'm being honest--a little prayer. If you're short on time, I'll get straight to it: her cakes are exceptional! Now, if you're still reading, here's what truly sets them apart: you actually get cake! I am DONE paying top dollar only to slice into a cake that's mostly buttercream and crumbly cake. (I really want to name names! I am thinking of two very "popular" bakeries that are all hype and marketing. ugh) The cake was fabulous--perfectly moist, NOT TOO SWEET, yet sturdy enough to support a generous layer of high‑quality cream cheese frosting in the middle and buttercream on top. My daughter doesn't even like cake. She loved this one. I love this pastry chef--her spirit, her craftsmanship, her product. I'm already looking forward to ordering again. So run--do not walk--to this bake shop. She has a customer for life.

This bakery, although a great distance from us, is my bfs favorite little bakery. It is where he…read morewas bought cakes for his bdays as a child. So... why not bring that reminder in celebration of that special day. A yummy, simple cake with almonds dressed along side. This cake is filled with both bananas and strawberries and very fairly priced. I didn't place an order, but instead walked in and they have a few cakes ready to go. Very easy to finds parking located behind the building and very friendly workers. Thank you Sweeties for making his bday a special one.

Good morning, Yesterday it was my son Andres 15th birthday,…read moreand I purchased a cake specifically requesting that it say "Happy Birthday Andres." Unfortunately, Annabelle, who I believe is the owner, misspelled my son's name and wrote "Andrea" instead. When we arrived at the restaurant and opened the cake, my son saw the mistake and started crying. It was his 15th birthday, a very special milestone, and something as simple as getting his name right would have meant so much to him. I understand that mistakes happen, and I would have been more understanding if the situation had been handled with kindness and professionalism. However, when I called the following day to explain what happened, Annabelle told me there was nothing she could do, that it had already happened, and that I needed to deal with it because it was a new day. She also told me there was nothing she could do to make my son feel better. I never expected anyone to turn back time, but I did expect some understanding, an apology, or at least an acknowledgment of the disappointment this caused. As a mother, it was heartbreaking to see my son cry on his birthday over something that could have easily been avoided. Mistakes happen in every business, but the way a customer is treated when bringing a concern forward says a lot about that business. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect and compassion, especially when a mistake affects such a special occasion. I am extremely disappointed not only by the mistake itself but also by the lack of care and professionalism shown when I tried to address it. This is not how a customer should be treated, and I hope you take this feedback seriously so that other families do not have to experience the same disappointment.
