Kendall is passionate about her approach to work but more importantly she is equally as passionate about ensuring the success of her students. Over the many years of our kids being tutored, we have never had someone that actually ensured our daughter sent outlines of what was being taught that week at school to better prepare for tutoring sessions. Kendall also reassigned who was tutoring our daughter if we didn't think they were the perfect match, tutored our daughter multiple sessions when things got busy and provided multiple options for additional sessions prior to taking exams. It is an understatement when I say that Kendall and the Mathnasium team helped Lauren raise her grade at least one full letter value. The property the current school is on and the buildings they were in before 2016 were part of a larger campus (Travis State School) that closed in the 1990s. Leigh Moss invited me to talk to the students about the people who lived and worked there. We hiked to the area where the "farm' part of the campus used to be. We went to the old cemetery during the Day of the Dead celebration that the students participated in. The students seemed happy, open to learning, and wise beyond their years. I attended the groundbreaking of the current campus with my Mom. My Mom worked with me at Travis when the buildings you're in (cottages) were built. I was thrilled to see them getting a new life, and especially since Austin Discovery was going to be utilizing them. I don't know what will become of the place now, and it makes me sad. I wish all of you the best. Thank you for breathing new life and for loving the land for all these years.

As we toured, it immediately felt like the kids were comfortable, and we felt so welcome. Since our child has been there (he is our first baby) they have given us confidence, comfort and advice when we sought it. They helped us to realize our kid was suffering from hearing loss and guided us on how we could get him help both from doctor and government programs. They have patiently guided our kid through some serious anxiety struggles and I've witnessed they practice flexibility with other neurodivergent children. It's so comforting and appreciated. This place has become more than a daycare for our family, we've gained amazing friendships with other families, the staff, and the sweet resident pups, kitty and farm animals.
