Get the App! 12/1/25 busy day at work...didn't feel like cooking anything after the long Thanksgiving holiday....decided to try the Micro Meal, was able to add the Del Taco using my offers and I had enough points to get it for free, and just paid $2.99 for the micro meal. Dinner for $3.25...unheard of! Feeling fancy for saving time and money, went through the drive thru, there was a line at 6:30pm, but it didn't take long before I was at the window picking up my food. Hit or miss. Depends who is working that day. Cheese quesadilla was good. It had a decent amount of cheese. There was green sauce in it too. Yay. 10/10 The large French fry was cold. Cold like it was made that morning and sat for hours. Even with queso blanco sauce, it was still trash. Cold French fries that are not even salted, are not good. The Del Taco was alright. I have visited a few Del tacos on Tuesdays for taco Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and this place makes great tacos. The other taco places I've been to are a little skimpy and Service isn't quite as good so I appreciate this one. read more

Went late at night with a simple mobile order and multiple items were incorrect and missing. Drove back across town to sit in their drive thru for half and hour and employees were not one bit apologetic and even tried to charge me for the missing item again after I explained the situation. Just tried the pinnaple popper shake, and, wow. That is an incredible milkshake. I may have just started on the path of a pinnaple popper milkshake addiction. This is my go to restaurant for whenever I am in need of a large meal that is still affordable. The location is very convenient for me and the people here are often very quick and efficient. I don't usually rate fast food places, but Del Taco stepped up. I wanted to do something nice to appreciate my team at work, so I called ahead the night before to order a big order of 40 burritos for the next morning. They were super professional, courteous and helpful, gave me an initial quote and scheduled a pickup time that worked for me. The next morning when I arrived, I was a little early, because I expected complications (no one passing on the order to the morning crew, e.t.c). I was pleasantly surprised they had the order almost completely done. Not only that, they were able to give me a discount that saved me a lot! Again everyone was super courteous and helpful, and they packaged them up just like I needed, so I could distribute them to different work sites. I went through the drive thru and had excellent customer service. The cashier was patient and knowledgeable when it came to the menu. I asked for half sweet & half unsweetened tea & it was nice to see she even wrote it on the lid. I believe her name was Mariah, but she had dark brown hair. I just wish Yelp would provide a negative star rating up to -10. I can see why they've got a two-star review they shouldn't even have a zero star review should be negative 10 but I digress. Where do I begin ? I don't know but let's try this. Okay so my car is in the shop and currently I am walking no problem. A friend tells me sign up on the Del Taco app and they have great deals. Okay so I took and signed up on the app registered and everything and it says for registering your email and so forth we will give you two free Del Taco tacos. Hey sounds like a good idea right. So I sign up on the app and then I walk over there and I understand that their dining room is closed the door is open no problem I go up to the counter to just pick up a couple of free tacos that they claim to give you and I am told the dining room is closed we can't help you and I'm like well what do you want me to do walk through your drive through then ? no you can only go through there if you have a car. And I'm like look I'm here I signed up for your app why don't you just make up two tacos give them to me and I walk out and it's over done deal. No we can't help you you can't be in here you have to leave so does it fall under the lines of false advertising, just rude customer service which is actually zero customer service or what. This Del Taco sucks!!! I've gone through it before in a car only because it's pretty much the only thing open at sometimes in the morning and the food is greasy but hey I still eat it cuz I'm starved. You know thankfully there's a Jack In The box across the street that's open 24 hours and they don't treat their customers like crap like this place does plus there's the brand new raising Cane's restaurant right across the parking lot from them which is open till 3:00 in the morning on the weekends and their food is awesome so are their employees raising Canes is great. But I digress getting back to the problem at hand I would give this place Del Taco a -10 star review if they had such a thing but unfortunately a one star is the lowest rating that I can give them. They are now using a robot at this Del Taco drive thru ordering station. But the robot voice isn't clear. When it repeated my order, it sounded incorrect. When I asked to speak to a live person, the DT employee came on and asked "What's wrong with the order?" I told her that the robot had my order wrong, she asked what I wanted and after I told her, she said that's exactly what it was in the computer. I tried to explain to her that that's not what I heard on my end, and instead of apologizing, and just making sure it was correct she wanted to argue with me about the fact that the order was correct.
