Epic guacamole burrito
Laura F.

There is a reason this Bullhead City Del Taco has only 2* My first visit was pretty decent but this one was disappointing. Their employees are super friendly and very polite. I give the employees 4* But their food is lacking in multiple areas, and I give the food 1*. The epic guacamole asada burrito was on the small side compared to other fast food restaurants. The main filling was refried beans and lime rice. I could count on 1 hand the pieces of asada in the burrito. And some of the pieces were burned. As for the guacamole, I'm not sure what they used to make it but it did not resemble avocado in texture or taste. Maybe it was an off day, not sure I'm willing to give them another try.

Where's the sauce?! Only cheese and chicken.

Prob the worst fast food service I've had while visiting the area. And most definitely the worst Del Taco service I've ever had. Put in an online order. Pulled up to the window and I wasn't greeted in a friendly manner, but I can overlook that (though they weren't busy. No cars in parking lot and one car in front of me and one behind that's it). I open up my bag to count the times bc I'm visiting. Nothing worse than getting back to the hotel and the food items are incorrect. I immediately go through the bag and Del Taco rep at the window gives the biggest audible sigh and says, "Ma'am, can you move up and check your bag elsewhere?" Are you kidding me? I did so, but wow. Super rude and unprofessional. Food was okay - just got some soft chicken tacos , but the chicken was more on the "end" pieces - not chunked up with white meat chunks. Literally didn't taste any "special secret sauce" that's supposed to be on it either. Unsatisfying experience.

As a so cal native who moved here. They've yet to let me down. I can get pretty creative with my app orders and they've been pretty great.

Somehow, it's just not right I don't like the seasoning. It's weird. I will not eat there anymore.

Not here, that's where you want to eat. People are nice but slow and disorganized. Food was awful.

We are visiting from California and have been on the hunt for the best Mexican food in town and…read morestumbled upon Guadalajara's . We received excellent service from Enrique ! They start you off with chips , salsa And Bean dip ! The chips were fresh , the salsa and a nice little heat to it and the beans were great . I got a skinny spicy Cadillac margarita and it was delicious ! My husband got a regular Cadillac but it was a little sweet so the skinny margarita is the way to go since it's fresh lime juice . We went with the ceviche and it was great ! Lots of flavor and hard to stop eating ! We also got the beef flautas and those were ok. We didn't care for the rice . We sat at the bar which is very small but we enjoyed the decor around us . Overall it's the best we've found so far (we've tried serranos , orioles and I heart tacos). I

The waitress greeted us with the warmth of a parking ticket no hello, no recommendations, and definitely no checking back after the food arrived. Once our plates hit the table, she disappeared like she had entered the Witness Protection Program. I eventually had to ask the busboy for a regular margarita because our waitress was still listed as missing. Then I asked for "salsa de tomate." She stared at me and asked, "What's that?" I said, "Ketchup." At a Mexican restaurant. I nearly requested a moment of silence for the Spanish language. Service: 0/10 Food: 2/10 Chance of anyone asking, "How is everything?": Still under development. This place needs a table bell labeled: "Press if your server has vanished or you've completely lost hope." Come for the tequila not the food, and definitely not the service.

The decor is super cool, with life-size replicas of La Chilindrina and El Chavo del Ocho where you can snap some fun photos. They even have props you can put on, which adds a playful touch to the whole experience. The place is split into two main areas: one for dining and the other with a full bar, pool tables, and karaoke. Bonus--it all glows! Such a vibe. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options. I was especially impressed by the massive baked potato piled high with meat--seriously, it's a must-try! They also had a dessert with fried plantains topped with strawberries and condensed milk... so good I had to take one to go! Service was friendly and attentive, though one small hiccup was having to grab our own utensils. It wasn't a big deal, but it would've been nice to know up front instead of waiting to ask. That said, it didn't take away from the overall great experience. Some items are served in to-go style containers, which felt a little casual for dining in, but again, not a dealbreaker. Whether you're just grabbing a bite or looking for food and entertainment, this spot is worth checking out!

We usually try a new restaurant or return to an old favorite, and this was my first time here. There is parking outside, although it could be a little difficult if you're hauling jet skis or a boat. This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of place. It's older and a bit dated, and from the outside it almost looks closed. There were a few customers inside, most of them appearing to be locals, which I always take as a good sign. The coffee was very good, and I liked that they had self-serve creamers, including half-and-half and vanilla creamer. You order at the counter, and when your food is ready, they call you up to pick it up. There is no table service. There was only one cashier, so if you needed something while she was helping another customer, you have to wait. We needed a larger table, but the only one available needed to be cleaned. An employee came over to wipe it down, and there was some frustration on her end because we had already placed our salsa and coffee on the table. It was a minor, but unfortunately, I had the same experience later when I asked for some more creamer because it was empty. The bathroom also did not have any hand soap or paper towels when we visited around 10 AM. There was hand sanitizer available near the cashier. As for the food, I ordered a carne asada plate with eggs after asking if they had a plate similar to steak and eggs. I requested no rice and no tortillas. The portion was generous, but what came out was quite different from what I expected. There was hard rice on the plate, the beef was diced and more like taco meat, and it was served over a corn tortilla. I also ordered my eggs over-medium, but they were cooked completely through with no yolk. I had a couple of bites and ended up boxing the rest. I did notice other customers ordering things like shrimp cocktails and menudo, which I thought might have been a better choice. In hindsight, I probably should have asked what they were known for. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't quite what I was hoping for either. The coffee was good, the portions were generous, and I'd be willing to give it another try if we're back in town. I will say that their chips and guacamole dip is very good. I also like that they have a self-serve salsa bar, where you can try their green, red, and habanero salsa. They had lime and other condiments available. Next time, I will ask what their popular dishes are.
