This place has a few pitfalls that keep me from not purchasing a yearly membership: First off, the wait to get to where you're going can be a bit much. The lines are a bit confusing as it is. They've since simplified it within the 9 months that I have lived here, but it could be even more simpler. Second, the clientele are less than appeasing. I tend to cause like a sailor, but not in public. It gets old. Amenities: + cardio equipment on the top floor + free weights, plate loaded, and selectorized machines on the bottom floor + gym (the floor is lined for basketball, volleyball, pickleball, four-square & shuffleboard) + indoor track + lap pool + locker room + personal trainer available + racquetball courts (2 available... reservations also available) + splash pad + spa (for ages 13 years & up) + sports programs (adult & youth) + studio & wellness classes + turf (soccer, flag football, ultimate frisbee, & golf) + water slides (4' & taller) My girls have participated in the volleyball classes here which were okay, but not very competitive. Just this past weekend (5/6/2023) I took the to the splash area for the first time area. Even though I declined to swim, I was still charged admission ($4 for the entire day). My 8 & 9-year-olds were charged $3 apiece for entry. In the splash area which is completely indoors, there are two sets of bleachers and multiple individual lounge chairs and side tables scattered all around. Free parking.

In fact, it's so amazing that I even became an instructor here after walking in and seeing everything. Everyone is super friendly, very well informed, energetic and happy to help! The gym itself includes several well maintained pools; a dive pool where our local athletes train, and compete. Shallow water Mabee pool has gym & swim for kids lessons, adult cardio classes and family swim. The FMH pool has lap swim lanes for athletes and members to swim. The aerobics pool is where the majority of the aerobics classes are held throughout each day, those include, deep water aerobics, HiiTide and independent exercise time slots. There is also the wellness pool where the water temp is kept a little higher than the other pools, in compliance with arthritis recommendations for water walking, physical therapy rehab, as well as arthritis, ai chi, poolates and functional fitness classes. There is also a large state of the art physical therapy department and full gym at this location. And finally the land classes are nothing short of incredible! Barre, let's dance, yoga and more. No lack of options, trainers, lifeguards or instructors at COM Aquatics. Everything you could need all in one place. Grown men (see the pictures) are swimming in their normal outside clothes. One man was wearing a full on button snap shirt, he looked like he was going to dinner after. There was one in jean shorts that I could not get a picture of. A lot of children are just wearing their underwear. I also saw a man, one day in underwear. These things are odd and gross and I personally think at a pool this nice should be enforced. The rules are very clearly stated on the front when you pay.

You have to provide a written 30 day notice to cancel or you will be billed for another month. That's pretty much any month if you don't cancel on the 1st. We moved out of state and canceled ASAP, but still got billed the next month. Normally places have a relocation cause, but they refused a refund when we called and actually said "you can still use the facilities until the end August." No we can't, we're several hundred miles away.
