I would not recommend using a Groupon when getting lashes in this place. Literally, a waste of time and money. $69 + tip and my daughter's lashes looked exactly the same if not worse. The technician put few small lashes but I guess not the the right way cause they kept separating and my daughter was forced to keep adjusting them so not to look ridiculous. I have been coming here for years but the last few times I feel like I am rushed through and apparently only get 1 "fix" every 6 months even when you can within 2 days. I was in for a refill and in less than 2 days all of corner lashes came out. I am getting frustrated because I pay for a master lash artist but yet she says same as last time and it is different every time. I called to have this fixed and because I came in 1 other time in the last 3 years I now have to pay. I have referred multiple to people as well. But I guess it's time to take my business elsewhere. I highly recommend Blanca at the Roswell location. She was doing my refill on my lashes but she did an amazing job! I have been to the Cumberland location, Hamilton location, Marietta location, Johns creek location, and I found the one in Roswell to be the best!! Blanca really outdid herself! Please don't waste your money here. Deka lash seems like a professional place to get your lashes done until you realize a majority of the workers are in training. I got my lash service done by Tatiana who not only talked to her coworkers throughout my process but also got up several times during my service. At first glance my lashes looked fine. When I got home I had already lost two lashes and started investigating closely. My lashes were so far from my lid that they looked like I had them for two weeks. I immediately contacted them to tell them of the lash loss and quality. I sent pictures over the course of a few days only to have them request me to get the lashes fixed at very last minute and inconvenient times. I requested a refund or a credit to get them done over by someone else at my convenience ans was denied. I literally took pictures and sent them daily of my lash loss. By the end of the week (one week after service) I had no lashes remaining. I was unable to speak to someone because their service is totally automated and communication is entirely through text message only. No one reached out to me to resolve my issue after I escalated my complaint. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The lack of professionalism, customer service and horrible quality of work is astonishing. I wasted money on this service as well as time as money on my Uber ride to and from this place. read more

Their policy is to take your credit card number to make an appointment.... ok.... but if you bought a Groupon you've already paid for the service!!!. And the instructions on Groupon don't state that, why would you give out your credit card number to some Ashley person?!?!?!? So as much as this pains me, I have to update this review. While the tech Jessica seems nice and is non confrontational, my second and third visits were not as good. Basically she gave me a curlier, less full look today rather than allowing me to reschedule later to do them right. A lot of my lashes fell out from the last set (actually most fell out in the first 7-9 days...not my fault), so I almost needed a full set. When she told me that an hour was not enough time to make them full, I asked about openings for later in the day and she said she thinks she has openings but that she would need "approval" to book me for later , however seemed reluctant to do that even though I expressed that as my preference. Instead she replied "let's see" and decided to use a "fuller" lash (I assume to get the look in a shorter time) that she also said initially was a curlier lash than she's used on me before, but when I reminded her that I don't like my lashes curly, she then said they were not any curlier, and then said "a little curlier on the ends"...the whole interaction seemed dishonest. Of course when I saw them they were curlier and not as full as before. On top of that, the prices had gone up since the last fill (3 weeks prior) with no warning so I paid more ($105) for a subpar refill...sigh. And of course when I called DEKA, they refused to compensate me in any way, even though I was clearly mislead in this instance and tried to convince me that the lashes that were used were no curlier (mind you the person I spoke to isn't local, and of course hasn't seen my lashes...was just basing this on what the tech told her). The whole thing was quite exhausting. Giving 2 stars because Jessica was polite but, please just give me what I ask for, and if you can't or just don't want to, then say so and I can decide whether to leave or stay. read more

First off the comfortability of this place is great. Anyone who gets lashes on the regular basis knows it takes a good while so the chairs/loungers that they had were incredible. The lashes look good as well, but the major issue I have here is the pricing. They have a "new client" special for 70$ which is a great price, but the full ins are also 70 as well. How are you going to have the same price for a full set and a fill? It doesn't matter if you decide to come get a fill 4 days after your full set, it will still be 70$. I think if you have the extra money to spend this place is great, but otherwise pick somewhere else. They try to upcharge you in their "special" products...like makeup remover....no just buy the oil free at Kroger. Also another thing that does not make any sense...they don't provide you with the little spoolie/eyelash comb....why? Oh because corporate realized these things were getting bacteria in them by using them every day to comebutttttt you can buy our 15$ sparkly brush with a cap on it so you can put in in your purse. How convenient! Because putting a free one in a plastic baggie is too mainstream. All in all this place is a perfect representation of Milton/Alpharetta pricing. Update: thanks for the response and condescending tone too I might add! Lovely. I have not been a member at any of your locations since July 2018. That is a lie. The techs are super nice, but it really seems like nobody is trained. I decided to sign up for the membership, that was a big mistake. The automated calling system made it difficult to cancel or even complain about the poor service. First it was very disappointing how curly the lashes were. Is that all they carry? I wish that would've been mentioned, the lashes look so cheap. My lashes had almost all fell off within 4 days. I went back a few more times because membership took 30 days to close out. I wish I would have read the reviews, so I was warned. I received my last services on 12/24, on a last minute appointment prior to the holidays. The tech that provided my service was nice and accommodating, and my lashes looked great upon initial completion. I explained that sometimes I have irritation from lashes during my consultation. She proceeded to use sensitive glue to apply my lashes, mixed with regular glue. The manager informed me they don't usually use sensitive glue because they don't last (which I didn't know at the time). Over the next few days I noticed a large amount of lashes falling out. On the fourth day I reached out because I only had about 10 lashes left on both eyes. My friend who is an esthetician actually encouraged me to me reach out because of how bad my lashes looked after 4 days. I reached out to customer service in which they responded via text. They offered to fix the lashes the same day. Unfortunately, I am leaving today to go on a flight to Miami until January 6th. I'm working during the day, until 5 pm and my flight is at 9:00 pm. I went in the location on my lunch break to show them what poor condition they were in, because I wasn't sure if my photos were conveying the message because I already have long lashes. I requested to have a refund for my $140 (including tip) due to a fix being an impossible option. The manager was nice and accommodating, she informed me that she had to reach out to the owner but she didn't have authority to provide a refund. The owner basically provided me with no resolution, so now I'm SOL. Because I have a flight that has been preplanned for weeks, and now I'm going on vacation with about 3 short lashes one side and some scragglers on the other eye. It's unfortunate that they know that my lashes are falling out due to the weak product that was used, but I'm not available the same day at the time of their choosing I will be out of even more money. Hopefully I can find a reputable company in Miami that can apply a new set. But then I will be out around $300 for lash extensions. It's just unacceptable. This location does not care about quality or customer service. It's all about the bottom line. They've taken my money, knowing that I'm not satisfied with the results after 4 days, and provided me with no reasonable options. 7:30 pm appointment at a different location, when I have a 9:00 pm flight is not offering a reasonable solution. I booked an appointment here with their "new client specials" for $59. One word - BEWARE!! They assigned me to a new lash tech and as soon as I got in the car on the way home, my lashes began to literally fall out. The next day, I only had a few lashes left...absolutely zero retention for these lashes. They would not issue a refund unless they removed the lashes but I probably only had 6 lashes left in each eye - they would not accept a photo of the lashes lost and demanded that I come there for a removal (waste of gas and time). Experience was pleasurable however the lashes lasted only two days. I'm not an everyday lash wearer and was returning in preparation for my fathers memorial service this week, as another event. After speaking with several ppl about my lashes falling out in two days (previous experience), the owner agreed to a reschedule but when I showed up it was determined (by a brand new tech) that I would need more time for a lash install. Not only was it offensive to have been pawned off to a new tech but the lack of customer service was extremely uncaring! I was told to reschedule anytime for a complimentary set. When I entered Deka Lash I was immediately greeted with the tech who'd previously installed my lashes insisting I couldn't get the complimentary set and i was also told I waited too long to return. If she'd recognized me or my name, why wasn't I given a call prior to making the trip to their salon?By her response, she was no doubt anticipating my visit. I'm a very agreeable person who rarely ever post bad reviews and I even stated "hey maybe it was me" because I was extending kindness and wanted to either recoup the wasted money I spent or get a set of lashes that would last. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I came to Deka a few months ago and received service form Lariya ( I think that was her name) and had a set of express lashes put on. They looked great, and I purchased the package so I could maintain them. After about 5 days A LOT of them started falling off - even with the recommended at home care but I figured that was how it worked, and I knew I was going back soon so I would ask about it. When I returned on day 14 Lariya didn't really remember me, but asked me how long it was since I got my lashes done and I told her "you put them on 2 saturdays ago- I figured she asked because they were so SPARCE... when she put them on again, she used a LOT of glue on them and although they were pretty crunchy, they stayed on until my next 2 week appointment with her, and when she filled them in she used even more glue to the point where I could SEE the clumps of glue on the Lashes. I have never gotten lash extensions before so I assumed she knew what she was doing, the lashes were crunchy, felt bad on my eyes, and they were going ALL Over the place even when using the lash brush. When they were coming out they were taking out my lashes as well. I missed my 2 week appointment and rescheduled right at the 3 week mark with another lash tech. Tatiana. I told her that I was a few days past my 2 week appointment and she advised me that I would need a new full set, and it would cost $110 but I had $55 credit on my account. I advised her that on the website, and at booking it was $79.99- she told me that was a special and I would be charged that. I asked her why I needed a new set and she said because I was a week past my appointment. She said she was going to take what was left of my lashes off and start over- while TRYING to remove all of the glue from my lashes, I could clearly tell now that there was an issue, and she asked me where I had gotten the last set done, and i told her HERE. Then I knew that they were not done right. It took OVER 30 minutes to remove the lashes, and she wasn't able to take all of them off- she mentioned that there was a lot to "unpack" and she wanted to make sure she had enough time to "at least get some lashes on my eyes" because she had another appointment and had to rush. Overall she was nice but the experience sucked as I felt like I was being thrown out of the chair without a real service AND I had to pay for someone else's mistakes within the same building!!! I left with SOME lashes, but within 24 hours, almost all of them have fallen out, they are falling out in DROVES and look ridiculous. I contacted the corporate office, everyone I spoke to was rude, and not interested in providing an adequate solution to the issue. They scheduled me for a "fix" appointment at some asinine time that didn't work for me and refused to cancel my contract or provide me a refund for the service I truly DIDN'T receive. It is now 5 days past my appointment and I have NO lashes on... but they said they gave me a full set.. there was nothing they could do about the fact they didn't stay on. This is a SCAM!! read more

The first time the tech who did my lashes had clearly just taken a smoke break ahead of my appointment and smelled like a chimney as she leaned over me to do my lashes. YUCK! When I tried making conversation with her and asked her what led her to do lashes and how long she'd been doing this kind of work she replied that she was brand new to it, had needed a job and found this one on the internet and they "trained her" over the course of several weeks. OK. So not the answer one hopes to hear but I tried to keep an open mind. I had previously gone to a lash artist with 10+ years experience and was paying more than Deka charges.
