BeepBoop has been the best way for me to learn Spanish. Over the years, I've taken in-person…read more Spanish classes and tried Rosetta Stone (when it first came out), Duolingo, and iTalki too. BeepBoop is a safe place to learn to talk with native Spanish speakers, learn more about the language, and get support from peers and your teacher as you improve. I've learned relevant Spanish (not random words I'll rarely use or only formal responses). It helps me think on my feet and really use the language every day. It has given also given me more confidence when speaking Spanish. I highly recommend it. I signed up for Pro during a sale, which helped.

Learning percussion with Rob Tovar is more than just about music. Yes you will get:…read more 1. A strong grasp on musical theory, chart reading, and rudiments. 2. A variety of techniques and approaches to how you want to play the drums. 3. Fast and accurate hands. 4. A crash course on every genre that makes money for a musician. 5. A foundational history lesson on the kit and its adaptation to digital era music. 6. How to take care and fully utilize one's drumming equipment. 7. Side-by-side kit allows for far more productive teaching sessions. But in my four years studying under Tovar, other perks I received included: 1. Someone to talk to during some rocky teenage years. 2. Mandatory accountability of items I saved up to acquire. 3. An understanding of the importance the music I had learned in regard to our world's culture. 4. A network connection in the Dallas/Texas/Southwest music scene. 5. But most importantly, a lifelong and loyal friend. I began taking lessons with Rob Tovar at the age of 15. I since went on to the Percussion program at Musicians' Institute in Hollywood, CA. I now teach percussion on the side out in Arizona as well as run some music clubs for the school at which I teach. I would not be able to contribute to my community to the level that I am able to without the guidance, instruction, and influence I received while learning percussion under Rob Tovar. Thank you for everything, Rob!

Rest assured, I will be back, and Neil Peart better watch out. I want his job.

They are a breath of fresh air and have been so great to our family. Everyone has made us feel so at home and there are so many things about this school that I've been impressed with. One is how amazing the teachers are. My 5 year old is in pre-k and I am confident they are preparing him for kindergarten in the fall. The teachers have been patient and kind and have really worked with us to make sure he is progressing both socially and academically. I love seeing and hearing what he is doing during the day.. My 2 year old loves his teachers too and they are always so warm and friendly. I'm seeing him grow and thrive as well! I love the daily reports I receive so I can know what my kids are learning through the day, and the teachers are wonderful about telling you things you can work on with your kids. Administration can be a pain point for some, but not at Primrose! They are on their game 100% Communication is fantastic and proactive and I am always prepared for what's coming soon and what's happening next- from tuition, to events, to incident reports (Which begin with "First of all, (your kid) is safe." I love that- it's a small thing, but that's the kind of thing I notice). It's incredible. On top of that, they are just about the nicest people you could ever meet, in the most authentic way. My kids are happy, learning a lot, getting fed amazing nutritious meals, and being well cared for. Trusting others to watch your kids for you can be so stressful, and I'm so glad we enrolled our kids here to check worry off my list. Primrose Preston Meadow is the best!

It saddens and frustrates me a little to read the negative reviews of PCA by students who attended…read morehere and missed the entire message of the love and transformational power of Christ. PCA is a Christian school - unapologetically standing on the Word of God for authority and guidance in all matters, including those pertaining to life, culture, gender, sexuality, etc. Those students who are unwilling to follow Biblical principles relating to God's design for gender and sexuality will find PCA frustrating not because the students and faculty are unloving or not caring, but because they are running counter to God's best for their lives. Period. My wife and I both work at PCA, all three of our children have attended PCA, and we have loved our time here at this school. PCA places Christ at the center of all that is done and while some have "complained" that PCA is an economically elite school, I have been amazed to see how far this school will go to make a Kingdom education available to any family that wants it! PCA raises and gives away literally millions of dollars for families to be able to attend - and PCA is at the forefront of trying to educate our state legislators on different educational funding opportunities to help address the cost of private education - instead of blaming PCA for providing an excellent education, those who are frustrated with the cost should be contacting their state legislators and asking why other states have passed laws that make private education more affordable and Texas hasn't. I personally know the students who have taken the time to write their negative reviews and I feel sorry for their anger and frustration, but again, their perspective of the school is really more of a commentary on their perspective on Biblical Christianity itself. If you want a school that adheres to the principles of Scripture and isn't tossed to and fro by the winds of the current cultural chaos, the comments of these students should help you understand that PCA isn't willing to compromise on Biblical truth. My prayers are with those students that they would one day know the truth and the truth would set them free.

Has nothing to do with the performance and quality of the academy. I'm a single mom with very limited income. My son had an amazing experience at PCA. When I lost my job and couldn't afford tuition, PCA did everything possible to keep my son there. Everything down to lowering tuition SUBSTANTIALLY to asking me to apply there!!! In the end I decided to put him in public school based on my financial situation. They were amazing! Let us out of the contract, offered very low tuition and even multiple months tuition free to help me get on my feet! When my son entered public (Plano) he was literally bored, because everything he was being taught, he had learned a year ago at PCA!!! Great place for the whole family, great experience and yes, good people that care!
