Hidi is AH-MAZ-ING. I've admired her work for a while now and when I finally was in need of makeup…read moreservices this past weekend, she was at the top of my list. She responded to my inquiry text right away and a few texts later, I was all booked! Her studio is inside the John of Italy Salon. Parking lot is big and right next to entrance, so that's easy. Inside the space are floor to ceiling windows, so there is a ton of natural light, which definitely helps Hidi give you the best, most flawless application. I asked her for brown/golden smokey glam and she absolutely nailed it. Throughout the appointment she would hand me the mirror to check-in and make sure I was happy with how things were progressing, which was super nice. Each time she handed me the mirror, I was more and more in love with her work. By the end of the appointment, I was literally staring at myself in the mirror in awe and feeling/looking like a million bucks. She also did light styling on my hair and gave me soft, gorgeous waves. Honestly, I walked out of the salon, looking like a movie star. The event was super hot and everyone was sweating, but miraculously my makeup stayed put. Thank God Hidi made sure to lock it all in with several finishing sprays -- that definitely saved me. I will absolutely book with Hidi again and I'm so glad I found her. She is professional, kind and beyond talented. If you're looking for a MUA in the west valley, look no further.

Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also kind, professional, and makes the whole experience so comfortable and enjoyable. I had a 2 day wedding celebration, so I was fortunate enough to get to work with Jana twice. Both days she showed up on time, put me at ease, and most importantly made me look and feel beautiful! You see a lot of young brides, and of course they all look stunning. I'm a little older- in my mid 40's, and not a big makeup wearer. Jana did such a wonderful job of keeping my look natural, and giving me a youthful, dewy glow. No heavy, cakey makeup that settles into any fine lines! She also did a great job with my hair, giving me a fun, flowy style for my beach ceremony and a piecey updo for the reception. They both looked great, it would be too hard to pick a favorite look. Thank you Jana, for the excellent company on both days and making me feel beautiful. I hope I have another event in the future that I need to get dolled up for so I can work with you again

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and working with Jana to do hair and makeup for my wedding…read more From the get-go, Jana welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like we'd known each other forever. She is incredibly personable and just a kind human being. She is not someone who is going to push you into something you are not comfortable with, and she's very open and communicative. Her experience shows in her ability to turn the inspiration photos to real life. I opted to do the hair/makeup trial, which I very much recommend. Not only will you get the chance to experience what it's like to worth with Jana, but it'll help steer your vision if you're not sure where to start. As someone who does not wear makeup or do my hair in my everyday life, this was pretty key to figuring out the look I was going for. I ended up changing the hairstyle completely from the trial vs the wedding day (I brought inspiration photos for each look) and Jana was absolutely game for it all. We both ended up loving how my hair looked the day of the wedding, and it framed my face in a more flattering way. Also, I absolutely loved how my makeup turned out. I still looked like me, but just enhanced. She blended different colors to customize and match my skin tone, and also custom blended the lip color shade. The makeup also felt really light and didn't appear to be caked on, AND it lasted to the end of the evening. My mother-in-law also had similar compliments regarding the lightness of the makeup. Jana brought her colleague Kathleen to do the hair/makeup for my mother-in-law and makeup for my mom. Kathleen brought the same easy going energy, and it was just a fun gab fest in the getting ready room. Jana also took a lot of pictures during the process for the trial, and also the day of the wedding, and sent them over the next day (She would have airdropped it, but I don't have an iphone). So I had some getting ready photos of my special day immediately, instead of having to wait for the professional photos to come back. I cannot say enough nice things about the experience and Jana made the process stress free.
