He intercepts their calls and steals the appointment for himself. He's tall, bald on the top and has a full dark brown beard. He is of medium build and looks athletic. He's not licensed and is hiding behind Google and PV Lock says they can't put any warning on their website. The know he's aggressive and had done this to several people. They also know that he does terrible work and charges an arm and a leg and that he's out of San Jose, they think. I had done business with PV LOCK before and trusted them. I didn't find out that he isn't a PV LOCK employee until I went to pay with a check and he said to make it out to his wife, Ariel ElizabethRodriguez. He passed himself as a subcontractor. The keys don't work for me and they are so sharp they cut my finger and made it bleed. I tested every single key in every single lock but it was impossible for me to open them. So he told me to have keys made up like the ones I had that have a bigger rectangular head and I was able to get more traction with them especially since I have small hands and arthritis. The number I called to make the appointment never answered when I called him back and the phone number on the digital receipt is no longer in service and when I tried to put a stop payment on the check that same day it had already been cashed. He told I could pay him in cash, check or credit card. If I had paid him with my credit card then he could've gone on a spending spree. I already filed a complaint with the Monterey County Sheriff's Department and am working on my complaint with the California Attorney General

He promptly came out, explained how to use the system, checked all the connections and replaced the battery. Fortunately, we've never had any break-in issues but having the alarm has always put our minds at ease. A couple months ago some of the connections began to fail and we called Ron. He came out right away and fixed everything and replaced the battery (hadn't been replaced since we moved in). He also advised us about all the new products available - even one our three cats couldn't set off from the inside - but we decided our current technology was working for us. Ron went through the entire house checking & cleaning all the connections for us. Great guy, great service, great product!!!

We've leased a security system from First Alarm for over 20 years. One night, a door sensor was…read moreactivated at our business. However, two motion sensors failed to detect any movement, which led us to believe it was a false alarm and not call the sheriff. Unfortunately, we were burglarized that night. When First Alarm sent someone out days later, they insisted the motion sensors were working fine. But our security cameras clearly show the intruder walking right past them without triggering anything. Their only solution was to suggest adding more motion sensors. Then, nothing. Weeks went by with no follow-up. We tried to cancel the service since the leased equipment failed to do its job, but they told us we were locked into a five-year contract. We've now spent over a week trying to get help, dealing with a customer service rep who's too busy with other customers to assist us. This has been one of the worst service experiences we've had. First Alarm is extremely expensive for what turns out to be unreliable equipment and poor support when it really matters.
