Jorge was incredibly thorough and meticulous, and you could tell he genuinely took pride in his work. He treated my car with so much care from start to finish. I had accidentally spilled watermelon juice in the trunk, and with the summer heat it fermented within hours. The smell was so bad that I honestly didn't even want to drive my car anymore. Jorge somehow managed to get rid of it without just masking it with overpowering fragrances, which I really appreciated. Another thing I love about Deetz is how reliable they are. He's dealing with what is effectively an airline scheduling problem. Planes. Captains and crew. Airport gates. Weather. Like them, he has to schedule all of this every day, live, and I think AI may help so I will offer a suspension of this review, hoping this will help him fix this problem... - - - If you're considering Deets for regularly scheduled mobile detailing, read this first. I signed up in 2024 for twice-weekly service on a standing schedule. At first, Deets was excellent -- appointments happened as scheduled, calls were answered, texts returned promptly. That changed about a year ago when they moved to what I think they told me was a new automated scheduling system. They acknowledged it caused missed appointments, and I was patient at first. But the problems never went away -- if anything, they got worse. Over the past several months, my standing Monday/Thursday appointments have been missed multiple times -- not last-minute one-offs, but the same recurring slots. No one contacted me beforehand, no one followed up after, no rescheduling was offered. The technician simply didn't show. That's the core problem. Isn't the whole point of working with a company like Deets greater reliability than working directly with an individual detailer? They have multiple trained technicians and a scheduling staff who are supposed to make sure your car gets cleaned when promised. If one technician can't make it, that's on Deets to solve -- send someone else, or at minimum call me promptly to tell me what's happened and reschedule. Instead I now get silence. For me, the middleman isn't adding any value. When I asked them to simply text me if a technician wasn't coming, I was told I'd need to re-enable "appointment status messages" -- which last time I tried it only offers two settings: a constant stream of annoying generic updates ("on the way," "arrived," "done") or nothing at all. There's apparently no way to get a real person to simply send a message and/or reschedule when something's actually wrong. Calling in, you now reach what sounds like an AI receptionist that can't seem to resolve anything I ask, transfers me to voicemail (no humans answer), and texts usually go unanswered for hours -- or days. The last straw was the loss of ownership. Early on, if something went wrong, the owner called me himself and made it right -- I felt like he cared. Recently, I've tried more than once to raise these same issues with him directly, not to complain but because I wanted to help him see what's happening to his own business. He hasn't called back. If you're shopping for a mobile detailer, spend a few minutes on Yelp first. There are plenty of owner-operators at similar prices, and dealing directly with the person who owns the business and does the work means real accountability. With Deets, I ended up with the same scheduling failures of an individual technician anyway -- plus AI receptionists and automated texts standing between me and the person cleaning my car. A middleman only earns its keep by being more reliable than going direct. In my experience, Deets no longer is. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. On 6/19/26 they came to perform a Platinum Wash on my vehicle. When I went out to my car at the end of the day, I discovered that not only was it a subpar wash job, but the tech had broken off the handles of two of my air vents. I immediately submitted the issue online and was asked for pictures via text. Pictures were sent the same day as the service. I took a chance on a concierge service to wash and vacuum my car cause I live in an area where I don't have the option to clean my own car. After this experience I will just continue to go to a car wash seeing it does a better job than this service did. I reached out to customer service and followed up twice and once more on email before I got a response but instead was met with a comment that "the tech said my car needed extra attention." Mind you it just needed to be washed vacuumed and wiped down in the interior. I keep my car in good condition regularly go through a wash and vacuum. I had good expectations whet he showed up early and left at 3:05 when my appointment wasn't even until 2:55, but when I spoke to the customer service rep the excuse for why my car washed done well was because he didn't have "time" before his next appt.... I got the silver wash and it was supposed to be a 100% hand wash & my car was left with multiple bugs all over the front of the car. From a girl who does this herself, I know it's not that hard to get bugs off. Sometimes it just requires some extra elbow grease. I went back through the description of what was supposed to be done and almost none of what was in the description was done or done fully - he didn't wipe down the interior, no air freshener, no spray detail finish, no clean and shampoo of the cup holder, on top of that there was splatter on my bumper from whatever they used to wipe down the tires, my seats were still left with dirty residue from something that looked like dirt that wasn't in my car prior. The seat was not moved back to where it belonged it was pushed all the way to front position and steering wheel was not placed back in locked position so when I went to drive it it was moving in and out. Broke my radar wire and didn't take responsibility. I've been using Deets Mobile for 6 years and generally been satisfied with their car wash service. However, I'm writing this review so others can be aware of how they handle problems. During my last wash, their tech accidentally damaged the wire connector to my radar system. When I brought this to management's attention, they completely denied responsibility and said "you should have brought this up sooner." No apology, no offer to help resolve a $150 repair, despite being a loyal customer for years. The disappointing part isn't that accidents happen - they do. It's the complete lack of professionalism in handling the situation. After thousands of dollars spent and referring multiple family members, even a small gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. They operate like they have a monopoly, but they don't. Just look around. You're going to find much better options out there, like I have. I won't be using them anymore. Holy Moly, and I thought telemarketer scammers were bad enough trying to contact me about my car's warranty, these guys were just brutal! Max who washed our two cars always a did a great job, but starting the day before they arrive the texts would start and repeat and repeat, and repeat followed by more texts after text after text and then the day of the wash more texts as early as 5 AM in the morning. I know your scheduled you've been literally harassing me for two straight days! Why the F*** are you texting me at 5:00AM on a Sunday morning to tell me about Monday's service that I already know about! It clearly said in my profile if the doors were locked don't bother with washing the inside and for some reason none of the teams never received that message as they would repeatedly bang on the door "open the car doors". If I wasn't home, I had to log into the Ring cam to explain "it says on the service, if the doors locked just do the exterior". I don't know why this was never shared. Lastly, I had a small SUV and and a sedan. Deets game me a price, but several times a washer would just knock on my door and tell me that it was extra on top of what the service was already quoted for and I'd have to go back to Deets and get refunded. No one needs this much drama just to get their vehicles washed. Found a local guy, no hassles, gets things done and 100% happier. read more

They are very prompt with the business communication and timing. They addressed my concerns about getting a wash scheduled earlier than scheduled and even showed up early. The detailer Mathew was a nice guy and came early. The issues came about when he said the wash was done and I came to inspect their work. I paid $60.00 for this and the photos speak for themselves. They wanted an additional 50 for each side of the car for water spot removal and additional money for the clay bar. $60 dollars gets you a touch-less spray down. The photo evidence speaks for itself. The interior is a "rub down" with shampoo'd cup holders... if your interior glass is dirty then don't expect it to be clean. If you're working when they wash your car, if there are water spots they will not clean it. Tree sap or bugs? Extra. You won't get a notification other than your car wash is complete. What they're telling me on customer service side is that all these things that take extra work are not covered in their maintenance washes. Beware that these washes are very very basic and do nothing more than explicitly what they state on their ad. Again this was the $60.00 dollar gold option. You're better off going to the gas station. read more

We had requested car service after being recommended from a mutual friend. Erin, their cleaning person came to clean our car. While he was courteous, during the cleaning process he broke our Tesla Model Y mirror. Despite conversation with Virgil, and Justin - they just blamed us because there was a minor scratch on the mirror. Our mirror was working and Erin even said that it was his fault as he pulled it too hard to clean underneath the mirror. Despite telling Virgil that Tesla and most auto manufacturers are very clear that no cleaning technician should move the side mirrors back and forth, Virgil and the DEET guys keep arguing that yes its allowed and they have been doing it for a long time. They did not reimburse us the $1,109 even though the technician told my friend and I that it was his fault. Justin/Virgil asked the technician to leave our place for next appointment without resolving this situation. When I tried calling them they just kept punting us. My friend and I have basically moved away from using their service. I would be very careful on Yelp and Google - please read the reviews. Also, we had proof that this mirror was working fine before. So I've used these guys a few times and they've been awesome but the last couple times were not so great. Cristian did a very mediocre job of cleaning both outside and inside. I pointed out a few streak marks on the outside and it was able to wipe it with my finger and he mentioned he couldn't get it off with a rag so he went back and was shocked that he could get it off with a rag in front of me. I tipped him and after he left, I noticed the inside was still really dirty. Used these guys several times over the last year or so to clean my car because of the convenience of booking online and they show up to their house. I've noticed the service has gotten gradually worse each time and their customer service is absolutely terrible. I scheduled the night before for 9am. He showed up at 9:45am. What's the point of scheduling a time if they just show up when they want!? I sprayed the car down before they arrived because last time they charged me an "extra water" fee the previous time which I thought was ridiculous. This time they charged me an "extra rinse" charge of $14 which seemed insane considering the car was not excessively dirty by any means and I had just sprayed the car down for them upon arrival. What did they expect? A clean car freshly waxed for their convenience when they arrived? I'll bet they would have still charged extra fees even if this was the case.
