They have pools for them and a large sand pit for digging. There is a very large backyard with a high fence and they are NEVER caged. They sleep on the furniture like the kings and queens they are. I am so thankful I found them. April is so wonderful with the dogs and Emma took to her immediately (she was a shy puppy). I can not say enough good things about them...THE BEST!!! And Emma agrees, especially about the homemade treats that are always on hand!!

I am the first to say that safety is of utmost concern for animal caregivers. That being said, I know my cat. She has never had issues during exams beyond some grumbling here and there. Of course she may have been more stressed due to it being a new environment, etc, but still!!! They literally could not even put a black light on my cat or look at a patch of hair loss behind her ear. She said that the cat needed to be fully sedated for an exam, and "many cats do" (which I see as a red flag... why do so many cats need sedation for an exam??) I have had this cat for many vet visits, as evidenced by the piles of folders I sent them, and we have never had this issue. My other questions is, perhaps she smelled other cats. If that is the case, they must not be cleaning very well between exams, because as I said, we have been to other vets without issue, and I'm sure cats were examined there as well. As a cat vet, one would think that they know how to handle cats. Even if a cat is trying to "bite", are there not heavy duty gloves and trained staff? Ridiculous. Thankfully they did not charge me for an office visit. I offered to come in to help with handling, but due to COVID restrictions I could not (as a side note, I fully respect that policy.) Horribly disappointing. I suggest that this place receive significant training on basic handling of cats for a start. Update: I took my cat elsewhere 4 days later and they said she was grumbly but they had no problems getting blood or doing an exam.

The classic boarding and luxury boarding areas are clean and everything is set up to make the dogs so comfortable. We frequently bring him for daycare so he can get out all his energy. He was so nervous the first couple of visits but he quickly warmed up to all the staff. They are all so nice and always remember my dog! All I know is he comes home exhausted so mission accomplished! We've boarded him several times ranging from 3 to 5 days so far. There's always someone there with them overnight and they make sure to note any special instructions with food and/or medicines when you drop off. I'll always prefer to have my dog with me, but when he can't come with us, I trust everyone at Purr n Pooch to take good care of him.

I was just trying to explain that my dog would just really benefit from an evaluation and they can determine and place her where they see fit? It was like she was trying to deter me from coming in and pretty much argumentative. It was bizarre. I then explained that the day care closest to my home does not have cameras which is why I was interested in their day care. She immediately said well we dont have cameras either. I was confused because i just read on their website , verbatim " we have closed circuit video monitoring" . She said well we have very high end clients and there was a lot of theft here so those cameras are for that . I told them their website is very misleading . They could of course care less. On the initial phone call I was able to determine Tommy was reasonable, trustworthy and if anyone could be a success story I found the best. I was offered a initial demo/lesson in which further proved my intuition was right on. Snooki achieved results/improvement she never exhibited prior. He not only can work with your pet, but has the ability to show the client how to get the pet to obey commands & "communicate" whats expected with your pet.
