I had long promised my husband that I would do a boudoir photo session. I researched many…read morephotographers and luckily, I came upon Jason Guy's photographs. I knew within minutes that he was the one I wanted to work with. I loved all the lighting and photo compositions in his gallery. His attention to ALL details is unparalleled! If you have any doubts in your mind about working with Jason, let me save you time, and say unequivocally DO IT! From our first phone call discussing details about location and the photo shoot, he answered my questions and asked for my input and what I wanted to see. Jason is a consummate professional and I urge you to read his guidance emails about what appointments to make the week of (waxing, manicures etc) and then what lingerie suits your body type. For me this was invaluable advice since I was at a loss what would accentuate my figure, but with Jason's guide I found great corsets and bodysuits that I loved wearing! I cannot neglect mentioning Ducky who Jason works exclusively with for makeup and hair. She did an amazing job! Then during the photo session, seriously listen to everything Jason tells you do. Just smile and enjoy the experience! Jason will help you pose and create the most beautiful and memorable photos of you. I'm still in awe viewing the photos from that day. Thank you so much Jason!

I can't recommend JG Boudoir enough…read more When I first found Jason's work, I was completely drawn in -- every image he posted radiated confidence, beauty, and a kind of self-assurance I didn't think I had. I admired the women in his photos but truly never imagined I could be one of them. After sitting on it for a while, I finally booked a session. From the very first consultation, Jason made me feel completely comfortable and supported. He walked me through every step -- from prepping, to posing, to coaching me through expressions -- all while making sure I felt empowered the entire time. His makeup artist, Ducky was incredible, helping me feel my absolute best before stepping in front of the camera. But the real magic happened after the first few shots -- when Jason turned the camera around and showed me the photos. I genuinely couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was me -- but through a lens I had never seen myself through before. I felt proud. I felt compassion for myself. And I walked away from that session forever changed. Since then, my entire relationship with my body and self-image has shifted. What Jason creates is so much more than photos -- it's an experience that allows you to finally see yourself the way others see you. If you've ever even thought about doing a boudoir session, I encourage you to book with Jason. You deserve to see yourself this way.

And the pictures were really beautiful -- journalistic yet lovely. We had some difficulties afterwards in putting the album together. My husband and I got really busy, had a baby, had another baby, etc. We were very slow in selecting our pictures. But we also found that sometimes it was difficult to get in touch with Robert about the album. At other times, we found him very responsive, and he upgraded our album for free because of the difficulty we'd had in reaching him. At the end of the day, I have a beautiful album with beautiful pictures. I think that if you stay on top of your album and select your pictures quickly, you'll have a great experience.

Having an illustrated wedding contract was on my wishlist ever since we began planning our Big Day…read more In the chaos of wedding planning, this detail got lost in the mix and we failed to commission one; suddenly there was less than 2 weeks to go before our wedding. Unable to let go of the idea, but knowing what joy it would bring to have this momento, I remembered seeing the amazing work of Eva-Lena Rehnmarkon her website. With high hopes, but expecting her to tell me that it was too late to commission this work, I called her. Within the day, she called me back to discuss details and establish whether or not enough time was allotted. We were so excited that she fit us in to her busy schedule- working with us in our budget and tight time crunch. She was fabulous to communicate with- she listened very carefully to what our vision was for the contract, she offered a variety of options, built on our vision with wonderful, personalized ideas, and was in consistent contact throughout the process. Eva-Lena quickly sent us sketches of the proposed illustrated wedding contract and was very open to our feedback regarding color schemes and additional details we desired. When she sent the final image of the contract, we were blown away by its beauty. With only a couple days to go before our destination wedding, Eva-Lena expedited the shipping of the contract, sending it to our wedding planner with days to go before our Big Day. When we saw the contract in person on the day of our wedding, we were overjoyed- it is even more beautiful in person! It truly captures the beauty, magic, and love that we experienced on our wedding day and reminds us daily of the vows we made to one another, blessed by those with whom we celebrated; especially our mothers who had signed the contract with us. Thanks to Eva-Lena, we have this beautiful keepsake and a very personal art piece. Thank you, Eva-Lena!!!

My wife and I got married this past December, and we couldn't be happier with our wedding…read morephotographer, Jennifer Michelson / A Girl and a Camera. I actually found Jennifer after searching online for photographers in San Francisco and her work immediately stood out. Her style felt fresh and unconventional -- more documentary and journalistic than traditional -- and I especially loved her use of black and white photography, which was a big reason we chose her. The day started at our hotel, where she jumped between our separate rooms to capture my wife and me getting ready. Before she had even gotten to our rooms, she had already scouted the perfect location for our first look. The moment was absolutely incredible, and she handled everything; we didn't have to do a thing but follow her lead. That professional confidence continued at City Hall. She has a masterful familiarity with the building. She took full control of the shoot, guiding us as she told us exactly where to stand, how to pose, and where to move next so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. As a photographer myself, I really appreciated her confidence and professionalism. All we had to do was follow instructions and be present. She knows San Francisco City Hall inside and out -- the lighting, the angles, the timing, and the key locations that truly matter -- every shot felt deliberate and it showed. The technical skill here is top-notch-- the compositions were beautiful, the balance of each frame was spot-on, and her gorgeous color grading. We received around 300 images, and the quality is so consistent that I plan to print every last one of them in large format to ensure we have a permanent physical archive. When we received the final package, we were so touched -- she sent our photos on a beautiful USB drive along with printed images, some sweets, and other thoughtful details. It was the perfect finishing touch to a genuinely wonderful experience. If you're getting married at City Hall -- or anywhere in San Francisco -- Jennifer Michelson / A Girl and a Camera is exceptional. Thank you Jennifer! Laura and Junior.
