During my appointment, they insisted I needed an MRI and scheduled it for me. They scheduled it for 6/3 on my behalf. Later in the day on 6/2, the MRI office called and said they have an earlier appointment and I accepted. Later in that same day on 6/2, MRI office called and said I do not have active insurance. I then called Lederman office and was told they verified I have active insurance. MRI was completed at the 3rd party and was then informed I need to pay $400+ because my insurance is no longer active. Lederman then charged me $765 and claimed it is on me to know I do not have active insurance. EVEN THOUGH THEY VERIFIED IT BEFORE SCHEDULING ME, CONFIMED I HAD ACTIVE PRIOR TO THE MRI, SCHEDULED THE MRI FOR ME, AND CONTINUED TO SAY INSURANCE WAS CONFIRMED TO BE ACTIVE EVEN AFTER I INFORMED THEM THE MRI OFFICE IS STATING INSURANCE IS NOT ACTIVE. I informed the doctor office I also use Medicaid, but they do not accept it. They then reduced the bill from $765 to $215 only after being super rude, disrespectful, and having the most condescending tone I have heard in a long time. Just awful to work with and they didn't care about my side of the story at all. The doctor was solid but because of Laurie and Rochelle being some of the most arrogant and disrespectful individuals I have ever had the displeasure of encountering, I would stay far away from this place and utilize any other doctor in your network. Being naive about back surgeries we thought my husband was getting the best care he could. After the 2nd surgery failed miserably a friend suggested that we see Dr. Nicholas Shroeder at OSOC. Within minutes of meeting with us he explained clearly why the first two surgeries had failed. By this point my husband is in constant pain and can no longer stand up straight. Dr. Shroeder explained what he felt the best course of action was going to be for Tom's situation. Dr. Shroeder had the new pieces needed for Tom's back made specifically for him in France. The previous neurosurgeon had just grabbed any rods and screws within reach. That was what kept Tom from standing upright. The picture on the right shows the neurosurgeon placed straight rods in his back. Losing the natural curve is what kept him from ever standing straight and in excruciating pain. The picture on the left is what was needed to give Tom the ability to walk and have a good quality of life again. This shows the difference between an excellent surgeon and one who should never be allowed to practice medicine again. The day of the surgery was a very long one. Dr Shroeder performed the 14 hour surgery to correct the neurosurgeon's mess. He actually had to rebuild Tom's back vertebrae by vertebrae. There were a few appointments before the surgery and a few during the next year. It is a 3 hour drive each way for appointments/surgery. Both my husband and I feel that the drive back and forth saved his life. I do not say that lightly. It's been 6 years since his surgery at OSOC and we are so grateful to Dr. Shroeder and his wonderful staff, especially Liz. Their knowledge, patience, compassion and kindness is so appreciated.

AMAN UPADHYAY, my office visit:…read more I drove over 3 hours to this clinic, hopeful that I would get help for my decades of chronic pain. Boy was I wrong!!! This "guy" was in the room for less than a minute. He came in over 30 minutes late, mumbling a couple of things I couldn't hear (tinnitus and hearing loss) as he closed the door. My autistic daughter said, "my dad is laying on his stomach to ease his chronic pain." He interrupted her, and told her to "shut the f*** up, this is my clinic." Astonished, I looked up and asked, "Did you just tell my autistic daughter to shut the f*** up?" He actually said this. I was taken aback by this language and treatment of my daughter. He said, "this is private property, I don't have to listen to this, you have 30 seconds to leave before I call the cops." Then he stormed out of the room! He never asked a single question about my pain. In fact, he actually ridiculed my chronic pain saying, "people here are dying, your pain isn't that bad." And he did call 911 on this 60yr old disabled Air Force Vet. On my way out I stopped in the hallway and stared at him in the cubicle bullpen. He repeated his threat. I called him an a** whole with no empathy. He called 911. Once he established his name and address, he escalated the situation by advancing toward me in an aggressive manner from almost 20 feet away! I took a half step to rebalance. That's when he leaned into my face, and quietly said, "c'mon, hit me!" This is on the 911 call he placed that the Waterford cops won't let me have. I shouted out for all to hear me say, "hit you?! How f****** stupid do you think I am?" And with that, I walked back into the lobby, slamming the door behind me after being insulted and threatened. He threw the door open and physically advanced on me again in the waiting room. Like I said, this alpha was angry and itching for a hands-on confrontation. Otherwise, he wouldn't have quietly goaded me with, "cmon, hit me," in a hushed tone, would he? I should add that I am 4 inches shorter than this male. He is bigger than me, and in much better shape than my broken body. He used his physical advantages against me in a highly aggressive manner. He physically chased my autistic 25 year old daughter and myself out the clinic doors and across the parking lot! His treatment of patients who rate him a 1 star service to should be investigated for patterns of reverse discrimination. The way he looked at me in the treatment room was downright scary. There are serious Anger Problems here. The way he treated my autistic daughter was inexcusable. His remarks and hostility towards me was his way of telling me to drop dead. No hyperbole here. Once greeted you'll be evaluated by Ken, who I found to be informative, kind, and respectful, he wanted to hear and actually listened to my concerns regarding my pain and trouble areas. I have been to several physical therapy facilities in the past 41 year hoping to feel a little better then what brought me to a physical therapist in the first place, just to walk away after 8 visits wondering why I bothered at all. I was 22 when I was injured, a sever slip and fall. The plan was, back surgery then place me in a wheelchair. I was hoping for a better resolution, with none offered at the time (80's) I decided to do this as best as I could on my own until I wasn't able to anymore. I have had two cervical spine surgery's to cage the vertebrae in the neck one in 2010 and again in 2012. It's my belief that it was those two surgeries that kick started the many and basically useless PT secessions I've experienced in the past. I kinda gave up trying to express how I was feeling or my pain as it wasn't being addressed or I was told it's all in my head. I had a scare the end of 2024. I had to go to the ER as I couldn't even stand on my own, my back hurt so bad I thought I'd be put in that wheelchair for sure this time. The surgeon came to the hospital room to talk to me about my options, 1. Was to have back surgery the 2nd she said would be very hard at my age to do as it would require a lot of physical effort on my part and she wasn't sure I was up for the fight. Guess which option I took?? In my opinion, HealthQuest physical therapy is #1 hands down, not only will you leave there better and feeling more yourself, but the knowledge and education you receive while working your program, is priceless. I believe after all the hard work you and your HQPT therapist do to solve the reasons you initially came in for, you may find yourself needing a physical therapist less in your future due to being taught how to keep yourself Mobil with more flexibility. The folks at HealthQuest did that for me. HQPT is by far the best. I have and would recommend HealthQuest Physical Therapy to anyone in need. Thank you HealthQuest for everything you've done putting me back together and teaching me how I can continue to do so on my own. Kelly Campbell
