Disappointing Experience…read more We hired this landscaping company expecting professional workmanship, quality plants and a finished landscape that followed the plans developed by our landscape architect. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of those expectations. What was supposed to be a one-week project turned into approximately six weeks, including periods when no one showed up at all. We frequently had to supervise the work ourselves because the landscape plans were not consistently followed. The ground preparation was also inadequate, and we now have grass growing up through areas that were newly landscaped. We have also been very disappointed with the quality and performance of the plants. Of the 26 plants originally installed, 13 have died and required replacement, with an additional plant now needing replacement. We have reached out twice regarding this plant and have received no response. At this point, it appears the company is unwilling to honor the warranty on the plant. Overall, the delays, workmanship, plant quality, failure to consistently follow the landscape plans, and amount of oversight required from us did not meet the standard we expected from a professional landscaping company. We are sharing our experience so prospective customers can make an informed decision and ask careful questions about plant quality, ground preparation, installation, project timelines, and warranty follow-through. I was generous with the three stars, as there were some things that were done very well, but those things did not include the actual landscape project. A custom cedar planter box built by Steve turned out really well.
