Kirk staged our 4,700 sq. foot house to give it a calm, inviting, uncluttered look -- with character. He TOTALLY avoided that BORING too-bland "white furniture and mohair lap blankets" too-typical cookie-cutter staging look. I understand (Kirk taught me) that the house needed to be staged neutrally enough for buyers of many different tastes to feel drawn to it. Kirk gently talked me into storing some of my large, dominant and peculiar TREASURES that took over the rooms. He's very diplomatic, as I was nervous about the process of re-doing the house to look NOT-me! He used about half our furniture and artwork and brought in some of his (he has a large warehouse of furniture and accessories for any style). The result was so inviting we wished we could've had him do this for us when we moved in, instead of at the listing process!
My Realtor was extremely impressed too. Realtors who came for brokers' opens remarked on the excellent staging. Definitely a big factor in the sale, we believe.
Kirk's prices were SO much lower than a big-name stager whose company has the big white trucks. My Realtor was amazed at the quality/value. Kirk was personally on hand during the process, and his workers were professional and pleasant too. He came by before brokers' opens to steam textiles, re-fold towels in all 5 bathrooms etc. and make sure everything looked perfect. When it was time to move out because we sold, he and his crew were, again, efficient and professional.
We have since then used him again to do interior design in a few rooms, and that's been great too. He stayed on top of eg the glass door vendors, etc. I have referred him to friends, and will continue to do so. read more
