Amazing Transformation! The original goal of our project was to replace our old deteriorating wood deck with composite, expand the footprint slightly, and add under decking to make our space below more usable. We spoke with several contractors and luckily, we ultimately found Frank. Frank had great ideas for our deck as well as for our adjacent screened-in porch. He offered multiple options and broke out the pricing so that we could review and choose what met our requirements and fit within our budget. Frank also introduced us to Moisture Shield Cool Deck composite for our deck- so glad we found it, it looks great and has stayed cool on our feet in the direct afternoon sun (no shade in sight!) Frank and his team exceeded our expectations- they did high-quality work with a lot of surprise finishing touches that we weren't originally expecting. Our deck and porch are so much lighter and brighter now! It is a significant upgrade and is amazing to see the huge difference looking back at our old deck and porch. We also love the underdeck and fans that we added below the deck and porch, it definitely expands our outside living area. Frank was very responsive and easy to get in touch with throughout the entire process from start to finish. He also stayed within our budget which was important to us for a large investment. We have already received many compliments on the project from neighbors, and we can't wait to invite friends and family over soon once COVID settles down! We are very glad we chose Decks and More and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an upgrade. Thanks Frank and team! read more

When our deck and screened porch was newly built by Decks and More, I wrote a couple reviews online saying how great it is. Six months later, we like it even more. Our old screened porch was usable but run-down (it was around 40-50 years old) and we didn't spend a lot of time out there. Then it got hit by a tree during a storm. It was damaged but not destroyed. First of all, Frank, the Decks and More owner, was able to negotiate us a brand new screened porch with our insurance company, even thought they only wanted to pay for repairs. We did pay Decks and More extra for additional unscreened deck and new stairs down to the back patio, the old stairs were rusting out. During construction, Frank would ask us about a bunch of details about what we wanted on the porch, and we were like, whatever, we hardly go out there. But Frank did a great job and was detail oriented despite us, lol, and now we can't even imagine a time when we didn't hang out on our porch all the time. It's a really beautiful place, vaulted ceiling, diagonal decking, all kinds of nice details. It has actually changed the way I spend time in my house. And, after all this time, Frank stopped by to make sure we continue to be happy customers, and agreed to fix a small gutter issue. Who does that? No one does that! I would hire Frank again in a second. read more

Another great project with Decks and More When it's time to update your home, Decks and More is the company to call. Buh-bye ugly roof over the bay window, overgrown shrubbery, and original siding and iron railings. Frank and I met to share ideas for updates to my home and developed a plan for the following changes- · Change the roof line with a gable roof extension and roof extension on the right side · Decorative cedar brackets under the roof extensions · New siding and shake style siding on the front of the house · New porch columns and rails · Stacked stone (custom-chiseled) along the foundation · New gutters and downspouts · New paint on all side of the home Once again, Frank and his crew exceeded my expectations. After designing a plan, Frank and his crew made suggestions that made the "facelift" even better than I expected. We planned for the gable extension but found the roof line needed to be extended on the right side for better balance. I continue to be amazed by how the materials are custom for each project: the cedar brackets were crafted on site and the stacked stone was chiseled on-site. The work was completed on time and the quality is outstanding. I highly recommend Decks and More! read more

I was introduced to Frank by the staff at Timbertown when I was searching for a way to apply screens to my 12 x 24 vaulted ceiling porch. I introduced myself to him by phone and explained that I needed advice as to how to actually screen the porch as the screen sizes were 8' x 5' which worried me that that was too large to get a tight screen. He courteously walked me through several options and even though we were going to do the installation ourselves. He chatted with me 5 times and was very helpful. He suggested pre-made screens that would simply screw into the frame. We chose the Screen-Tite product from Home Depot and it went up easily and correctly. I called Frank to give him the update and he was very happy that all had worked out. My son-in-law is contemplating enclosing his porch and I certainly have no reservation at having Frank take a look at the project. If you have any need for deck work or construction, I certainly would recommend Frank and his company. A class act. Thanks again Frank. Jim G, Hiram Georgia read more

What a wonderful experience! Expensive? Yes, but this is definitely a matter of getting what you pay for. There are a lot of companies out there that will do it for less, but Frank Pologruto at Decks & More is the best I've ever encountered. I am not an easy person to work for, and I can be a royal pain in the back-side. When Frank and I first met, I had loads of questions, and Frank was very patient, and gracious in making sure that I understood everything. He required a small fee up front, but returned about a week later with three different drawings, and a detailed proposal with lots of options and features. Once we decided on all the bells and whistles, Frank and his crew got started. The job was finished on time and on budget. One of the things that amazed me most, was how well they cleaned up after themselves. If it weren't for the shiny new addition, you'd never know they were ever there! Frank Pologruto is an artist with an amazing eye for detail, and I am looking forward to hiring him for my next project! read more

Excellence Service: ... Decks and More Delivered Frank listened to my concerns, took great notes and together we collaborated on a new deck design for my needs. Next, we designed a 14 ft x 25 ft = 350 sq ft with a wider staircase, all one level, with an elevated flower box and a built-in bench. Decks and More Design included a picture framed border with no seams in the middle of the deck. Diagonal decking with galvanized screws and they stained my wood deck as well. Frank Pologruto and his team were amazing on -time and on budget, and pleasure to work with. They went the extra mile for me and rebuilt an old cabinet with a new stainless cabinet and a blue stone counter-top. Frank assisted me with some landscaping with a Mini blue chip pathway and some beautiful black mulch. This enhanced my outdoor living space tremendously well. EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS!!! After another contractor was unresponsive, we contacted Frank and we are so glad we did. Frank gave regular updates, and did a thorough, professional job. He even sent flowers and chocolates as a thank you for doing business with him! Frank heard our basic design concept and took it to another level. He encouraged us to increase the size (and we are much happier), add a vaulted ceiling with drop beams that are stained to match the open front curved apex along with trim detailing that perfectly matches the front porch of our home. All the installers were respectful of our home and showed great attention to detail. Overall, Decks and More is an outstanding company that will go the extra mile for you and your family. My deck was beginning to fall apart and I needed a replacement. I decided to go with composite decking instead of wood. His pricing was comparable to another company who provided an estimate. However, I chose Frank because considering the investment, I was more comfortable with being able to deal directly with the owner instead of a company where I had to leave a message and wait 2-3 days for a response. Frank was very attentive to the specific elements I wanted. He provided options with clear pricing. He communicated with me in a timely fashion throughout the project. The crew was excellent. The craftsmanship is outstanding. I am 100% pleased with what they have done. Additionally, he went the extra mile and did things like replace exterior outlets, and replaced and painted a few pieces of siding. read more

We were looking to have our deck extended and found Frank by recommendation. We ended up doing a wrap around deck with a beautiful tongue and groove ceiling, a stone fireplace with a TV above it. This deck is enormous. When I first spoke with Frank he was upfront and clear in making sure I understood that he only does higher end, large scale jobs. To me that's honesty, not arrogance. We found Frank and his crew to be very good at what they do. If there were any small issues, he saw them before we even did. He would fix the problem immediately. His crew kept a keen eye on detail and workman's ship. He kept up with his end of the contract and we did the same on our end. Frank worked to make sure we were 100% pleased with the final results. We absolutely LOVE our new deck. read more

Frank and his team of professionals were a pleasure to work with during the recent renovation of our deck and sunroom conversion. Decks are their specialty and the quality is in every detail, but the show stopper is the sunroom conversion. While working through the supply chain issues of the Summer, Frank and his team of professionals built a space for my family to grow and enjoy for many years to come. When we do sell, the sunroom will sell this house -- floor to ceiling windows on one side, fireplace with built-in desks, saved the tile floors to keep costs down, 15-foot accordion style door that opens onto a beautifully crafted deck. We love our sun-filled, family-friendly, new space. So in conclusion, would I hire Decks & More again? Emphatically, yes. read more
