He wasn't wearing a mask and didn't require the students to wear them. When I called to complain bc I have a severely immunocompromised family member, he grudgingly said he could wear one, but would not require others in the car to wear them. I told him we could not take that risk and asked for a refund for the remaining five lessons. He refused, saying that he wasn't refusing service. I called another school, and when they contacted him for the completion certificate of the online portion, he played games about releasing it. Complete lack of professionalism and ethics.

She had no permission to leave school, he wanted her to go anyway. Thankfully she was smart enough not to go. He claims he made the appointment with her during an earlier driving lesson - while she was driving! I had enough - unsafe instructor. I asked to transfer our records to another school and he refused! Shaking me down for a $54 cancellation penalty fee. He said check your contract...what contract? We hired him over the phone. Run away! No business ethics, completely unprofessional.

AJ is a great instructor for my son at a great value. He picks him up at school or at home and…read moredrops him back off, which is really convenient for me. He gives great feedback for him on what he needs to work on for the next lesson. He made sure my son knew it was his responsibility to schedule his appointments and make sure he was on time for the lessons. He is the only driving instructor in the area that I know of, so he is quite busy. At times can be hard to get ahold of so just be persistent and keep calling and leaving messages.

When I went on my first drive I had very little experience and I was 15 at the time, my mom had told him this before we begain the lesson and instead of helping me calmly and showing me the right way how to turn the driving wheel while turning he angrily grabbed my hands and yelled at me for not doing it "his way". He made a 15 year old kid cry for not know how to drive and humiliated him in front of another student who was on his last drive. The classroom went as promised, with the exception of no communication as to what was needed at the DMV to get Temps. Paperwork was not provided to the student even though they completed classroom. Steve rarely answers the phone - or checks his messages. We were charged $95 additional for missing 5 behind the wheel appointments - even though a few of those were him leaving a message, changing existing appointments to times we were not available! HORRIBLE experience! Took nearly a year to complete. Trust me -it is worth the extra money to be done with this!
