Unfortunately after a month the insurance company refused to fix it and we had to pay out if Pocket. When we were ready we were told they had to do another quote and it was the same price. Unfortunately my husband had a medical emergency and a month after his surgery I had to have emergency surgery as well. So here we are 6 months later ready to have our work done and pay out of pocket. I was told we needed a new quote and I'm ok with this because I was told last time the price was high because of wood being so expensive and I know the price has gone down. To my surprise they increased the price by $500. Yes $500!! Inflation has companies being greedy and price gouging and I'm not here for it. I contacted the company and tell them I'm willing to pay an extra $300 but $500 is just too much of an up charge. The company replied thanks for your message have a nice day. Ok great way to lose a customer and any recommendations we might have. Beware when contacting this company. They will up charge and have 0 issues with it. Fortunately we found a company to do it for $700 cheaper. I would hate for anyone to be ripped off so please get more than one estimate!!!

Matt and Kevin were so knowledgeable with Calvert County codes and regulations and offered a wonderful rendering to address the codes and safety! The price was fair and we plan on making them our go-to for our quoted project and many more projects! We love that they gave us a fair price upfront and didn't bargain with us once we said we could not do the project at that time. We asked several friends who each have successful landscape companies in different states and they confirmed the quote we received from Lawn Artist was very fair. We gave Kevin and Matt several inspiration pictures and the rendering we received more than met our expectations so much so that we are putting off saving for a needed kitchen renovation to save for this project instead. Kevin was very understanding and did not make us feel bad for not having the budget to do the project right away and even gave us a great option to do the project in stages fit into our budget! We had a wide variety of things that needed to be done -- from installing barn doors to patch and paint jobs to encapsulating the crawl space and replacing the deck to a total bathroom remodel and replacing the porch floor and rails. The work is not only solid, it was completed within the schedule set up front. Anything I questioned as the work was in progress -- primarily because I changed my mind about a few things as they were underway -- was resolved immediately. This company puts the customer first. JJ went above and beyond to stick to the price quoted -- there were no surprises -- and we paid exactly what was quoted up front. Given the range of work done, this was especially appreciated.
