Mike was professional, experienced, and thorough. His quote was detailed and all-inclusive -- covering drains, slope correction, flashing, and stucco -- with no surprises or "TBD" add-ons. It was clear and straightforward, which I really appreciated after dealing with unexpected change orders from the company we ultimately hired. Even though we didn't work with All Weather this time, I wanted to leave a review because their approach stood out in the best way. I'd absolutely consider them for future projects and recommend others take their bid seriously.

We found they used 1/2" plywood (I had paid extra for new plywood, 3/4", the plywood they installed sloped to the house, and the plywood showed where all the leaks were originating from. Lots of leaks throughout and none at the rails that National claimed were the leak sources. National is flat-out evil and should be avoided.

They were able to level it out and significantly improve the drainage by adding bigger drains that exited to the side of the deck. Unfortunately, they accidentally cut through the cable line for the back unit when they cut the holes for the new drains but it was quickly repaired and they offered to pay for the repair which we appreciated. Some of the add ons we had asked about such as some wood repair on the deck railings seemed a bit pricey so we decided not to pursue those but we are very happy with the end result.

Ewell Construction was working next door when debris from their work cracked my car's windshield so…read morebadly that I had to replace it completely. The incident occurred in the parking lot, and there was no other possible cause for the damage. I spoke to the site manager, who seemed to understand what happened and wanted to check the debris and talk to his supervisor. I thought they were taking responsibility. I sent a formal request for resolution. The site manager said his supervisor--who wasn't even on site--rejected it and said they would contact me. They never did. Later, I found out Ewell told building management they weren't working outside that day and denied responsibility. If that were true, the site manager would have mentioned it when I first spoke with him. Either way, the company never responded. It seems they value saving a few hundred dollars more than their reputation or respect. Their refusal to take responsibility is baffling and makes me seriously question their integrity as a company. I cannot recommend a company that will not own up to its mistakes. If something worse happens and there's no security camera or other proof, they will likely deny it. I am done wasting time with them and would avoid any involvement.

I have worked with John twice for my previous house and current house. For our first house, the…read moreproject involved demo'ing our existing stucco, adding insulation, applying new coats of stucco, finish with smooth stucco and accent sidings. He also demo'ed our entrance concrete and installed pavers. Everything was done according to plan and there was no surprises. Price was reasonable. We got a new home and needed to add a top smooth stucco on existing stucco. We also had to modify our 3 single-door garage into a 1 single plus 1 double door. We also needed to install a new entry door, window sills, etc. John came through again with a reasonable price after interviewing a few others. The garage door modification was very substantial involving structural engineering drawing, replacing steel beam, new framing, etc. John was able to complete all of these and helped us pass final inspection. We had to pause for over 6 months waiting for our custom entry door to be made, and once it arrived John wrapped up everything without any delays. In all honesty we never worked with any GC more than once, but John is the only exception.
