This place is amazing! It's a large facility with multiple gyms, childcare, lots of summer camps,…read morepickle ball leagues, indoor pool, and much more. I come for the fitness area. They have great air conditioning and the cardio area is on the second floor, overlooking a creek. I've never had to wait for a machine, I usually go around 10am. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. You are allowed to use the group exercise rooms when a class isn't in session, where you will have lots of room to stretch (there isn't much room for that in the fitness area). Membership is also less expensive than in other areas of Maine. It's amazing to watch all the activity happening here, it's a great resource to the Waterville community.

What I love about The Foundry is the family environment...I instantly felt like a part of the team from day one. Seth was very helpful in getting us setup and was very welcoming. It had been 20 years since I was an active JuJitsu student...I felt totally comfortable being new. I had experiences with both Sensei Josh and Sensei Seth...both are exceptional teachers. It also speaks to the type of people that are attracted to The Foundry...every student I met had an awesome positive energy and were very welcoming. Regardless of your experience, this place is the right fit. The youth experience is also off the charts awesome. Sensei Shawn is one of the best teachers I have witnessed. My son is learning a ton...but he's also learning discipline...he's a wild one! Ha! Sensei Shawn has done an amazing job with helping become a better listener with holding him accountable to his behavior while also being a great encourager. It has also been a great father/son bonding experience. We commute from Dixfield and have lined up our classes to be on the same day. It is dedicated time for us both to learn something and have time together. I can't recommend this place enough for both adults and kids.

I had to scramble to find another escape room for our kids' birthday. Additionally, they only gave a partial refund. No escape room, no warning, partial refund. Book an escape room experience with Escape Augusta or with Bangor Escape Rooms (which is where we ended up that day - awesome experience!) I cannot urge you enough to stay away from this place.

The camp is really nice with tennis courts, a radio station, a pool and a lake amongst other things. This looks way better than the camps I grew up going to. Went here for a wedding which was a cute venue. We came here for a wedding, which is the context of this review…read more The staff had plenty of golf carts helping guests with the rather long walk to get to the wedding setting. This was helpful and staff seemed engaged and interested in helping. The setting for the wedding was lake side, very picturesque for a fall afternoon. They had adequate seating and benches set up. It was a very nice ceremony which the setting contributed to. Reception and meal was at the main lodge. There is a large outside deck which was nice for mingling during the pre meal drinks and waiter server appetizers. Dinner was buffet style inside the lodge. There was adequate staff and things went smoothly for a crowd of about 150. Food was ok, I'd give it an average rating. Entertainment was an outdoor canvas covered band with a decent dance floor. This was well done. All in all, this is a good wedding venue, if this is what you are looking for. They handled this crowd of 150 with no noticeable snafus. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars....Solid spot.
