I brought quilts to this laundromat to wash/dry since too bulky for home machine. The washing machine stopped working after putting in my money. No attendant on site on weekends. Had to call the "emergency number" posted in the 'mat. Reached a woman who said she was local and would come down to help. Not sure if she was the owner or managed it, but if I rated just her service I would give 5 stars. But facility needs some attention and updates- machines were worn out and not surprised by my experience. She responded within 20 minutes, was very kind and apologetic but it was an inconvenience and delayed my Saturday plans waiting and then having to move soaked items to new machine, make sure it was working etc. read more

Don't understand the glowing reviews. We are staying in the area and our condo lost the first floor laundry facilities so we needed to find a laundromat to do our laundry. The place was dirty and several machines were not working. The smaller sized machines were the same price as the larger load machines. The dryers were not drying the clothes and we had to keep feeding it with quarters. Luckily we found a laundromat that just reopened after Milton. What a difference clothes dried in record time and the smaller machines reflected a lower price than the bigger capacity ones. The place was also clean. read more

I recommend Debs Laundry for more than just self serve laundry! I brought a very large comforter to be dry cleaned and was done efficiently, quickly and with love. One time I even didn't have enough change and Deb graciously let me have some quarters. Such a Queen ! Deb also offers alterations. She outsources a Taylor who works very good and very inexpensive, also she took no more than a day to do a hem on some pants I took. Overall Deb is amazing and a staple to the community. Our dryer went out after a house full of guests left. With lots of sheets and towels I found Deb's Laundry in Gulfport. I loaded up the van and Deb said she could handle it all by washing, drying, and folding, and have it back the next day. She also picks up and delivers too, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The work was done on Thursday so I picked it all up. She had 3 big bags of our laundry all folded and sorted by towels, sheets, and comforters. Deb was a lifesaver! read more

Went here to do some vacation laundry. For the small machines it is $3.50, medium machine is 4.50, large machine is $7 extra large is $7.75. There are some other machines mixed in with various prices but the highest is $7.75. The dryers are 25¢ for 6 minutes! You can buy detergent, pods liquid soap, bleach, softener or dryer sheets here as well (pricing is in my photos). Last wash is 8:00 pm although there is another sign saying 8:30 is last wash. There is a restroom here you can use if need be. There is a small indoor and outdoor seating area for when you're waiting. Coin machine did come in handy after we ran out of quarters. Right at 8:30 the person working there started to stand near my boyfriend and I and when I put something in the dryer at 8:40 she told us she has to close the door at 9. I was drying a single shirt... I understand that doors lock at 9 but come on a 6 minute dry, I was out by 8:50. Wouldn't come here again and definitely don't recommend coming here. read more

All of a sudden I remember why I love this place. The 80s music takes me back and life feels simple. I'm simply enjoying my time at Deb's. I'm here at Deb's now. I just picked up a huge bag of perfectly folded fresh smelling laundry from Deb's and thought to myself what an improvement bringing my laundry here to be professionally cared for has made in my life. I dont have a machine at home so its going to cost me to do laundry anyway, and so far the difference in me slaving over it myself vs having Deb's take care of it for me equates to like an extra ten or fifteen bucks. In return I can trade in a big bag of dirty messed up clothes for perfectly folded and hung sparkling clean clothes. Well Worth It! They offer free pickup and delivery too but so far I have just brought it in. The ladies there are fun to say hi to so I just pop in. My poor 13 year old dog who has slept with us since puppyhood has become incontinent and peed all over the king size comforter. It was really a mess when I dropped it off at Deb's. Deb was up to challenge...she'd seen it before and offered several product recommendations to get the comforter clean. Here on vacation for 2 months, with Deb's laundry never had to worry what I was going to do about dirty clothes. I used the wash,dry and fold exclusively. They do a wonderful job, everything sparkling clean and even on hangers. Drop off one day pick up the next is what I did but she will do same day if you drop it off before 10 AM. If we could give more than five stars we would. We'd hung up damp-rid moisture collectors in our camper and one split open and dripped an oily liquid all over the dining area cushions. We had no idea how to clean them. No tags indicated whether they were washable or dry clean only or suck it up and plan to spend lots and lots to replace them. They were oily to the touch and nothing on the net gave us enough direction to try to clean them ourselves without knowing what the material could withstand or what might breakdown the substance. Not even Utube gave us enough confidence to experiment. So we turned to Deb who has a sterling reputation in our town and took in one of the covers asking her advice. Not only was she spot on with what she thought the covering could handle for cleaning but pretreated and cleaned the cover the same day. This woman is top notch in professionalism. I sometimes need a laundromat to wash comforters that don't fit in my machine. I used to go to the closest place near our condo. No more. Deb's is just 10 minutes farther & well worth the trip. It's VERY clean & bright & Deb is so friendly. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Only down side is they only have one machine big enough for a Q/K comforter. Beware! Deb does not have any prices posted for the wash dry fold service and three different people I know have been quoted three different rates. (Apparently they changed in May, but this is not posted anywhere for customers to see). She also weighs the dirty laundry which is not a practice I've ever seen. Very unprofessional when I mentioned that was strange. (For the second time, I asked her last time to please weigh them once clean and folded.also as a way to keep your scale clean.. today I was home with three small kids waiting on a ups delivery and called Deb three times to see if she'd maybe deliver my laundry a few blocks up the road. She didn't answer. I addressed all of these concerns when I got everyone situated and picked into the van and picked up our laundry and was met with snarky and flippant responses "well you won't get that price in this laundromat" (even though I did a few months ago) "in d.c. it's $2.25 a lb" (ok we're in Gulfport) I pointed out that I paid $.95 up the road and there a few months ago "that's because we have five stars on yelp"...?! "you didn't call my phone and not get an answer" (yeah I called the same number you answered yesterday when I called to see if you were open, and haven't even used my phone since) "oh it was only a half pound difference between dirty and clean" (still less, and why the attitude about just doing it the way ALL the other Wdf places do, weigh when clean). I realize Gulfport doesn't have many options and I get it that Deb is a local but geez I'm glad I haven't sent any of my friends or clients there. Based on my experience she's unprofessional (seriously no prices posted? Isn't that against the law?). Anyone can wash and fold clothes. Excellent service from Deb and from her delivery person. We use the wash-dry-fold service. The laundry leaves our home dirty, and returns a couple days later with everything clean and neatly folded. The cost is quite reasonable, especially when you think about how many hours it would take us to launder all those loads.
