Going to give short version color not even close but was going to let it slide was charged for a shampoo and trim that never happened then I got sick noticed my color was 75% gray in 2 week the color fell out i showed her said she'd fix she seemed concerned confused but ghosted all messages after never scheduled to fix. Call owner tell her she takes Brooke's side says color "I chose " was impossible for my hair! What! Brooke picked it! Then said brooke told me no she did not and I had messages to prove it. Said brooke told me she was putting ghost highlights in again what no she did not i dont even know what that is i do know I asked her several times you sure ypu can get it that light each time being told yes I was made to feel like everything i was saying was a lie even though I could show her but she didnt want to see them. So im out 350 no refund have to go to a different salon pay the 300 to fix this because brooke couldn't just be honest or talk to her boss and ask if she was not sure then we could have went with something different im not difficult but I do want that I paid for. And I strongly feel like they should have made her give me my money back she lied plain and simple and I trusted her!

I explained to her what I was looking to have done -- face-framing layers, V-shape in the back -- and she made it happen! Becca was super friendly and professional and knew exactly how to cut and style my hair. This is very impressive for a first time visit because it usually takes me a long time to find a stylist that I like. I'm SO glad I found Becca at Stag, especially because I'm new to the area. They have an absolutely stunning salon, filled with beautiful luscious green plants, and they have a selection of hairstylists and even a nail tech that you can book by appointment. Stag is definitely a gem in the town of Fort Madison. Highly recommend checking them out! *Tip: their phone number on their Yelp/Google page may not be updated. So I recommend stopping in during their business hours for an appointment.

I moved out to the are not too long ago and was in desperate need of a cut and a color correction…read more Now I've been blonde my whole life (except for a horrible stint with brown and red) so I'm realistic when it comes to bleaching my hair back to the icy blonde I want. I was recommended to Kim by someone I met while I was getting coffee and I'm SO happy they did. Kim took her time to address my concerns. I had a strip of my hair that didn't take well to another bleach process and it's where I had a grown out shadow root. So it was brassy and yellow. I was hoping to come in and get the brassiness toned down by processing my hair again. Kim took so much time of her day to get me to where I wanted to be. Mind you I have had stylists tell me this before and then they can't. Kim processed my roots and the brassy strip once. It definitely bleached my roots but the brassy part was holding on for dear life. She dried me and then went through a second process with foils on just the brassy sections. This time it took pretty well you could hardly tell there was any brass left. THEN SHE TONED ME. After that she cut my hair, dried me AND CURLED MY HAIR. You guys...my hair is the most beautiful shade of blonde ALL OVER that I've ever had in my life. I was in Kims chair for a good maybe 5 or so hours. She took her time and did SUCH an incredible job. I will be coming to see Kim all the time now. Thank you SO much Kim you have resurrected my blonde to a whole new level!!
