We were extremely happy with Debi's staging at our new spec home! Not only were we pleased, but we had multiple positive comments from people that went through the home. Several items that really made Debi's work stand out: 1) Debi has great design sense, and a large enough inventory of furniture and furnishings to make her vision come together perfectly. 2) She tweaked the details in all areas of the home- she takes her time to get it "just right." 3) She and her co-workers are hardworking and friendly. 4) All of Debi's time estimates were accurate. She made the days we needed for staging and de-staging fit into her schedule. This was very important for us. 5) Will we use Debi in our next project? Absolutely! Bottom line- five stars are very well deserved. Her work helped us to see our home. We highly recommend her services. Thanks, Debi and crew. read more

Debie was recommended to me and my husband by our friend and realtor Ms Lily Yu. Lily spoke very very highly of Debie's talent and encouraged us to use Debie's service because though may cost more than other companies, the work is spectacular. We trusted Lily's taste. And oh man! Are we glad that we worked with Debie. The 3D virtual tour of our Irvine condo looks better than model homes! She had the eye for color, space, shape and the overall presentation! My husband and I joked that we wished that we were living there instead! Maybe we won't want to sell after all haha jk Thank you Debie! You will definitely get my firm referral to my friends and family -Allison read more

Deb staged a home listing I had in San Clemente. I compared her to others and my client liked her the most. Her price was also the best. She walked through the house and assessed what was needed. She came back with her workers and a truck load of furniture. Deb recommended a couple of painters to freshen up the interior. The owner's furniture was neatly stacked into the garage and Deb's furnishings were brought inside. The house looked fantastic. It was so good that it sold over asking price with multiple offers. The house was a good house in nice condition but Deb put in the excitement and class. I am convinced her magic touch sold the house sooner for more money. I am only giving a 4 out of 5 star rating. She is so busy that she sometimes was a little late in showing up. If I had given her a 5 star rating, you might have not read this review. I will definitely use her again. read more

Debrah did a Great job on our home that we have recently put on the market in Aliso Viejo. She definitely knew what she was doing and was super cordial and nice about all of the options that were available she decorated to my amazement and it was well worth the money and the house will definitely sell shortly! I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to sell the house quickly and have it look amazing to a potential buyer. Next time I will definitely utilize her again and I will recommend to all my friends she really went the extra mile to add picture frames as well as bookshelves and books along with other accessories. - Lanny Yu read more

We have been realtors in Orange County for many years. We recently listed a home that had been rented for many years and was in need of updating. Debi came to us very highly recommended. We had a few bad experiences with staggers in the past. Debi came in and transformed our million dollar listing. Debi and her staff of assistants did a fabulous job and exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to a continuing relationship. Great People to work with. MIKE & ADELE read more

Debi was recommended to me by a potential agent. We wanted to use Debi's services after seeing photos etc. but decided to use a different agent real estate agent. We asked Debi in advance if that was an issue and she said no we could still use her services. At the last minute Debi backed out and left us hanging since the other agent was upset with her. Luckily another stager stepped in and helped us after Debi left us in a bind at the last minute. While the staging was nice, we didn't appreciate being left hanging especially when trying to sell our home. read more

Wow I have been in the real estate business for many years as a agent broker in Sales, management, senior level operations and now selling my own properties. Staging has change dramatically and it's difficult to trust decorating to any company without some concern. BUT, Debbie and her family did such a great model home for us that I want to keep the property! It never looked so good. I recommend her and her company to anyone looking to enhance the creative design of a property for buyers imagination! Tom i read more

I have used Debi for staging for years now!!! She is one of the best and most professional stagers in the industry. Her eye is impeccable. It's amazing how she can walk in to a home and totally transform it. She innately knows exactly what to do to bring out the attributions of a home so a buyer can see themselves living there. Her staging is classy. The furniture she uses is substantial not cheap like we see in some 'staged" homes. She can also take a vacant house or condo and turn it into a home. I've taken over several vacant home listings that didn't sell, got them staged by Debi and they sold!! She also has a great program called a "home manager". It's an ingenious program especially for vacant houses so that someone is living in the home making sure the home is always ready to show and clean. Vacant homes tend to look dilapidated and collect dust so its better for the seller. They'll get more monet for the home. I have had very good experiences when I've used the home manager. They have always kept the home or condo emaculate, and safe for everyone because someone is living there, it's no longer vacant, and they keep it ready for agents to show, lights on ready to go, which I appreciate. Homes always show better when lights are on and everything is in place. So it saves me time having run around to get lights and music on, and I don't have to be a maid before a showing. Not to mention saves the seller money on staging. Its a win win! I can't tell you enough how much I love working with Debi!! She helps make me look good! read more

We used Debi to stage a vacant investment property that we wanted to sell. Debi provides us a quote and offered us a "Home Manager" to offset the costs of her services. We agreed and the terms were that her home manager resides in the property and kept the home in ready to show condition at all time and we would pay her at close of escrow. We turned the home over to her vacant after a professional cleaning. I will say the staging was very nice and received many compliments. I would however add that Debi needs to work on the overall operations of her business and refine her home manager process. We visited the home and the home was dirty and not ready for showings on numerous occasions. Debi was standoffish when told this and repeatedly mentioned we didn't pay her yet(her arrangement, not ours). At move out there was trash left in the garage and the oven was broken requiring services. To sum it up, the staging is nice but may not be worth the additional hassles if dealing with a poorly run operation. Debi's response below is a perfect example of the back and forth and unprofessional behavior we had to deal with during the transaction. Personal attacks and posting an address on public forum are questionable business practices. I have additional texts from her to prove the nightmare we endured. Feel free to message me for them. read more

Can't say enough about what an absolutely amazing job Debi did staging our home in Orange. At first we weren't sure about having our home staged but after we walked through the door we were 1000% sure that it was well worth it! Her team was so professional and transformed our home into something quite spectacular ! read more

I have used Debra Lauren Design for a number of houses that I have refurbished and put back on the market. One of the first things I look for are pleasant people to work with. Debbie passes that condition with flying colors. Debbie is a sweetheart that will do whatever she needs to do, to make sure you are a happy client. She is extremely good at what shes does AND she does what she says she will do. Debbie will not disappoint you! Jeff Sebek read more

Debi was recommended to me by an agent we were interviewing to list our home with. We were recommended the home manager program as a way to defer costs of the staging as well as make the out of pocket less. All in all, it sounded like a good idea upfront due to the benefits I listed. In the end, the home manager was more of an inconvenience than a benefit to me. There were several occasions where I had to reach out to Debi to have the house cleaned due to the conditions the home manager left it in. We were delighted when the house sold to be done with the entire process. We then received the utility bills for the time the home manager lived there. All utilities bills were 2-3 times the amount of previous bill. This meant the proposed savings of the home manager program was completely offset due to the abuse of my property by the home manager. Staging was nice and added value, but the whole home manager experience was an absolute nightmare. read more

We used Debi for an upscale estate property in Coto de Caza, California. She was competitive and simply a delight to work with. She was candid yet in a soft manner in expressing what needed to be done to the home to maximize the appearance in getting the home sold. She was also very workable and accommodating. Her crew worked long hours and the difference in the "before" & "after" was masterful! Debi also chose a few paint colors in which to enhance some of the rooms. Her design abilities & expertise was evident in the end result. We sold the home in 12 days! We will definitely use her again. She's a doll ! In fact, I want her to give me a few decorator tips on my own home! read more

Debi staged our condo after it had been listed empty for almost two months. The following week after staging we received an offer and the condo sold! The furniture and decorations were beautiful. Debi and her team installed everything quickly and also moved everything out on time ahead of Escrow closing. I highly recommend Debra Lauren Design for quality and fast results! read more

Just wanted to put in a good word for Debi of Debra Lauren Design. I am a Realtor in Orange County and had a property that was vacant and very difficult to sell. After many months I convinced the seller to call in someone to stage the home. We called in a couple of designers but my client liked Debi and chose to work with her. She was amazing. She offered several programs for the seller to chose from and was delightful to work with. Most importantly the home looked fabulous and sold not too long after we put it back on the market with the staging. I have recommended her to several agents in the office and they have loved her too! I have also recommend her to clients who need decorating help after they move in. I found her through and email that she sent out and I am so thankful that I did. I will continue to recommend her to my clients because I can trust that she will deal with them with the same care and professionalism that I do. read more
