The office was discreet, private, and provided with clear boundaries to ensure the safety needs of incoming clients. With Wendi Moore's reliable guidance I gained trust in an adult, felt safe the entire time, and totally kept me working within my window of tolerance, as is vital for change. Wendi even adapted her approach to incorporate Dr. Aimie Apigian's Biology of Trauma teachings on how to do her Art Expression for each chapter of overwhelm... I knew the creative addition would help my brain shift into realizing that what was is in the past, it was over and to then notice the relief, the difference my body feels now in present time. Despite being 73, on a government pension Wendi empowered me to determine a way I could afford the therapy, which gave me even more trust in her. With her help I have put to rest 95% of what terrorized my inner world and now narrative counselling ever did for me. The only other excellent therapy I've had was EMDR. But this IFS got down deeper into the source of agony while being held safe, seen, understood, supported and valued. The experience was always safe feeling, so well worth every penny spent and more.

The clinic itself is beautiful, big and very clean and the staff are always polite, helpful and friendly. We understand that they are also opening a walk-in clinic which is greatly needed in West Kelowna. While we hope we won't have to use it, it's nice to know that a walk-in clinic is now going to be part of a larger medical office that we already trust with our lives and well being. Highly recommended!

Today I have tried to follow up by telephone to find out if they are even taking on new patients. I was put in a hold Q of 10 for 15 minutes, when it to being first in line it rang through to another holding Q where I started 10th in line again. If this is the kind of service they provide, that I can't even get through to them then I don't want them as my health care provider. If you are going to force patients to go online to make appointments and communicate with you then you better be very good at it and get back to people in a very timely manner. Shame on this new model, it dehumanizes us. K.
