For those who have experienced this or are going through it right now know about the pain and the sleepless nights. I tried everything from rolling that tennis ball, Stretching, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy and Physio Therapy which helped some...Then an acquaintance suggested OKANAGAN ACUPUNCTURE. Best thing I ever did for myself! Well long story short after my first appointment at OKANAGAN ACUPUNCTURE I felt relief. To top it off I slept through the whole night for the first time in months pain free and still do. Now just like any type of therapy subsequent appointments are necessary to feel the benefits of Acupuncture. I still go about every 6 weeks to stay on top of it. I had been on prescription drugs to help alleviate the frequent pain I experience. In the fall of 2014 the pain became very bad and my family physician changed my medication,as it had little effect he then doubled the dosage. The only thing that was changing was my personality, the pain was still there. He told me that this was what I would have to contend with for the rest of my days as there was not much else that could be done, perhaps surgery and that it was part of getting old. A friend asked if I had tried acupuncture, of course not as I would not even consider doing that, but, in view of what was happening,why not? I went to see James. Four sessions later I stopped taking my drugs, have not had one since. Now I do a regular monthly session with James, he keeps me going. I can remain more active than I have for years, the pain is gone and really happy to kick the drugs. I honestly would recommend this treatment to anyone who is suffering from the kind of pain that I was going through. It works for me and I tell everyone of the success that I have had and I thank this to the expertise of James. I feel GREAT!
