I have had several procedures...medial branch blocks, epidurals and injections. MPC has helped me with my chronic pain so much. I recently moved and Melissa faxed my records immediately upon asking! I highly recommend choosing Maui Pain Clinic! I love them all.

I've been a chronic back patient for 20 years and he argued with me about the number of patches that I can use and refuse to let me have more than one a day because he said it was at risk of a heart attack. It literally says on the box that you can have three a day. On my way home, the doctors office called me and told me that he had discovered that he could give me three today so he was gonna call in my prescription for me. On another visit without any prior notice, I was told that I had to take a drug test, I was charged for that and he's the one giving me the medication. I have no history of missus however they just threw this bill on me. I live a long ways away and I need my medication. What was I going to do? I had to agree to the urine test even though I have no prior history of miss of using drugs. After we found out that I had a torn rotator cup, and that I needed to have a major surgery on my shoulder and that I would be out for a very long time. I called the doctors office and asked them to call in a sling for me so that I could pick it up from the pharmacy. They called me back and told me that this doctor told me to go on Amazon to order one from Amazon. Like what the... I have medical insurance. After I found out that I needed surgery, I called an excellent podiatry surgeon that I had known from previously and asked for his recommendation. During my doctors appointment at the Pain clinic, he was getting ready to tell me who the doctor was and they said hold on one second let me check my messages because they left me a voicemail.... The message was 28 seconds. When the message finish, he scolded me and told me never to do that again that I was wasting his valuable time. That he had other patients who needed him, however, at the time there were no other patients in the clinic or in the waiting room.. 28 seconds folks! Oh, and then my favorite, which is the very last visit ... he's the one who's prescribing all my medication and there's a lot and so they come in and they're asking me how I'm doing and asking me about my medication and my dosage and I said I don't have my medication with me... I said you prescribed all the medication so whatever you have there in your tablet is exactly what I'm taking... he then responded to me that he didn't have access to that information and that he expected that every time I come into the doctors appointment that I need to have a list of my medications I need to know the dosage of every single one.... Even though he's the one prescribing it. I'm telling you, this guy is not a real doctor in my opinion he's a fancy drug dealer. He was offended when I wanted the surgeon to recommend my post surgery medication.... He wanted to give me Percocet, the surgeon gave me oxy.... Percocet is more addictive than oxy! And my very last and most favorite experience were the number of phone calls that I received from Walgreens... informing me over and over and over again that they would not work with this doctor and that they would not be filling any more in narcotic medication for me if he was my doctor. They said, and I quote he never returns our phone calls! There is a different pain clinic, I don't know which one it is, but I know that people have told me that they are very professional. I don't think I need to say anymore, I'm so exhausted from trying to just get adequate medical help from this clinic. I'm 56 years old. I have four different disabilities and I have two people in my family who are doctors and never have I been treated this way by a doctor. I don't know who gave him his license or who let him graduate, but this is a mess over there. By the way, they're not gonna take your medical insurance, they're gonna say they don't need it .. later you're gonna find out that somebody else is billing you but because they never took down your insurance information and they didn't relay it to the company who's doing the billing you will receive a bill that has not had the insurance deducted.

They are billing me for putting me in agonizing pain-I left the office in more pain than I walked in with and it never got better. To be worse after being tortured at your clinic is not acceptable, or to be billed for the horrific experience. This is the letter I have been sending in since December and I have attached the bill and the payment I did make when I signed into the appt Regarding my appointment session with Dr Garcia on 10/25/2024, to reduce the pain I had been having for the past 6 months on the left side of my neck due to calcifications of the facets C6-C7. It was one of the worst experiences of my life, and there was no sympathy or help from any office staff or Dr Garcia himself, after the session that left me in more pain than I came in with. I am the one who, when I was face down on the table, said very loudly that this stupid face donut thing I was given was not working, and I was very uncomfortable and balancing on my nose, face down on the hard table. The staff said it was too bad, and that was all they had. So, all my neck muscles were very tight and in use, as I was balancing on my nose and continually telling the staff, with Dr. Garcia present, that this was not working for me, again, "That's all we have to use" was the only reply I received. No "I'm sorry, let's see if we can make you more comfortable" was ever spoken to me. No one cared about me as a client or my personal well-being or comfort. Then Dr Garcia started with the needle injections, and I was screaming on the table and kicking it with my foot. Still, no one cared. Dr Garcia told me it hurt more since my neck muscles were over-tight and tense. YES, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT GET ME COMFORTABLE ON MY FACE DOWN POSITION with a cheap massage table donut. That is the best they can do? After screaming through the whole procedure of about 15+ minutes, they stopped, and I came up crying and in much worse pain than I arrived at the office with. I was given a box of tissues and ushered out of the procedure room--no sympathy at the checkout desk either, with tears still coming down my face, where I had already paid a good sum for that treatment. This new, more intense pain was way worse than what I had prior to going to the clinic and has persisted since that day. My neck locked up, and I lost all range of movement. I was in so much pain. Months of more $$ for massage and PT finally has me back to the point before being tortured in your office by your staff.

Together we decided to try physio for 6 weeks to see if we could strengthen the area, then we can take the next step of steroid injections if needed. He was a great listener and was very gentle when rotating my leg/hip. When I mentioned I had lower back problems he immediately referred me to a back specialist to see if that was affecting my hip pain too. Dr Eno has an excellent background and experience with professional sports teams and we are very lucky he has returned to Maui to practice. While I only have a mild hip problem I wouldn't hesitate recommending MOI for anyone with hip, knee, or shoulder problems. The number of patients who were arriving for surgical check ups attest to the amount of surgeries both Drs carry out. If I have any further problems they will be my go to orthopedic Drs.
