I had some life circumstances that recently changed and Kent was able to flawlessly navigate through the challenges, answer all of my questions, and he is resourceful to quickly find information that he did not know off hand. He ALSO found several errors in my tax return from last year and he filed an amended return for me, and next week he will be doing my son's taxes as well. I came to the appointment uncertain about everything and worried a bit about figuring everything out, and I left with my tax return and amended return absolutely completed, all my questions answered, and very happy with Kent's work. I recommend LifeStyle Tax & Accounting Services 100%. They REALLY know what they are doing, and I am very impressed.

Arin was presented to me through Yelp and I'm glad to have came across her business and worked with her. What she charges for her services is reasonable and I would say well worth it. She was responsive throughout the entire communication process while also preparing my taxes for e-file and she even helped save me a few thousands on what I initially owed! That's a winner right there! Arin you have made a life long customer, you are my tax advisor for years to come. Thank you for your professionalism and expertise!

In my opinion, they are among the most exceptional CPA's and Business Advisors in the industry. When I moved to Minnesota in 2023, I contacted BWK to prepare my taxes. From our very first conversation, I was struck by the depth of knowledge and business insight that John had--he is a true expert. During one discussion, I mentioned a business venture from over a decade ago that had resulted in a significant loss, something I had long written off. He listened closely and said he had an idea--unconventional, never attempted before, but potentially viable. What followed was years of dedication and countless hours on his part. His approach was innovative, bold, and far beyond the standard playbook. His commitment never wavered. The level of effort he put in exceeded the work of ten CPA's I've dealt with in the past. The result? I recovered over half a million dollars from a business that failed in 2012. At 65, this has been one of the most unexpected and meaningful outcomes of my life. BWK treated me with genuine care, respect, and concern--like family. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend this company. Thank you, BWK, for everything you've done.

My daughter paid Jasicki Tax & Financial Inc in Champlain to complete and file her state of…read moreMinnesota and federal taxes for 2021. This past May the state of Minnesota garnished her refund for overpayment of her property tax refund. She asked me to help her figure out why they did that. A quick call to the State of Minnesota (is there such a thing?) and I was informed that there was no return filed for her for 2021. I reached out to Dillon at Jasicki as he was the preparer that completed and signed her return. Always got the answering machine or left a message with the always pleasant lady that answered the phone. Once on May 19. Three times on May 27. Twice on June 3. Four times on June 4. Twice on June 6. Again on June 26. Twice on June 27. Concurrently during this stretch of time, I sent out numerous emails requesting information and seeking guidance. NOT ONE TIME DID I GET THE COURTESY OF A CALL BACK OR A RETURN EMAIL. I had to literally catch Chuck answering the phone almost 2 months into attempting to contact them to have a conversation with him. Extremely frustrating and disappointing given that she paid them to prepare and file, and interest and penalties accruing daily. So, what happened? They filed the federal return but it was not accepted for reasons not provided to her at the time. They did not even notify her that her return was not accepted. As the filer they got notice but failed to communicate directly with my daughter that they needed more information for the return to be accepted. It ended up being a 1095 health insurance form that was never discussed or requested when they prepared the return. When I finally got Chuck on the phone, he transferred me to Dillon and in 34 minutes we had it worked out. Simple right? All could have been handled at the time and saved the $435 in penalties and $257.08 in interest. I would ask them to cover the costs incurred due to their pathetic lack of follow up, but they don't answer emails or return phone calls. Do yourself a favor and have your taxes prepared elsewhere.
