Call me a regular. I love this place. And so did MacDuff. The self wash tubs are the perfect size to reach into easily, but high enough to keep Mac from jumping out. Best of all, I could raise the tub with a foot pedal so that I didn't have to bend over. No sore back!!! I got the anti-shedding package and it worked well. No cloud of fur coming off my dog now. The place was clean and the towels were fine. The blow dryer gets the dog dry, not the towels. The treat they gave me tasted like liver. Yuk! Maybe it was meant for Mac. read more

We've used lots of groomers for our Yorkie-poo. None of them compare to how good of a job they do. If you have a Yorkie be sure to ask for the Mickey. read more

Our English Springer Spaniel Wyatt doesn't like to be groomed, but he loves coming here anyway. The staff does a great job and they give him lots of TLC. I couldn't be more impressed. Make your appt 4-6 weeks in advance or be prepared to wait to get in. read more

A great place to wash the dog. The tubs lower so the dog can get in and raise up to make the washing easier. They give special soap for the face, and ear wash too. I got plenty of towels for my large dog and there's an air drier too. read more

So I have gotten Isabella and Gabriella groomed a few times here. Overall they seem very nice and I shop in a great location ample parking to boot. The prices are a little high but it's in Healdsburg so what you expect. Well I wouldn't say they come out looking like brand-new dog I really think that they don't over stress the dog and the dog leaves happy. Great find read more

Debbie's is fabulous. She has groomed all my Old English sheepdogs over the years and they come out like show dog level beautiful. It is a very hard breed to maintain and she does the best! The new place is clean and tidy and attractive. They are all very kind to my dogs. They are a true find and make my life better for finding them. read more

Went here early this week to check out the changes since the new owners took over Bow Wow Meow and turned it into Debbie's. First impressions were not good, before the shop was bright, open, very professional, and very clean. Now it's all partitioned off, dark, and the cleanliness has dropped WAY off. I know they just did some construction to move some walls around but I am talking about dirt and hair all over, the self bath area was a disaster and the whole place didn't smell good like before. Bow Wow Meow was never dirty, and they cleaned the self bath area religiously as soon as you were done with it. Secondly when I came in the woman who is apparently Debbie according to the pictures on their website was talking to some friends about personal issues, and continued on like I wasn't even standing there with my dog. No eye contact, no greeting, no I'll be with you in a minute, much less how can I help you. I stood there for about 5 minutes until a man who is apparently her husband from their web pics came from the back and asked if anyone had helped me. I told him no and said I wanted to use the self bath and had used it before. I paid and he escorted me to the back and gave me 2 towels but then he needed to clean the bath area before I could use it because both empty stations were filthy. My dog is HUGE and I knew I was going to need like 4 more towels, but I figured I'd ask after I was done bathing him because the poor guy was still cleaning the farthest station. I washed my dog which took about 15 minutes - unfortunately they have removed the auto shampoo system the previous owners had as it made it really fast and convenient. Leaned out to see if someone could grab me a few more towels and was completely ignored by all 4 staff back. There were 2 in the grooming area and they totally blew me off and just pointed towards the back. There were 2 girls working back there, one drying a dog and another in the doorway to a small back room and they both looked at me like they didn't know what to do when I asked for a few more towels. Finally I saw them on a rack back there and just grabbed a couple. When I was done I went back out to the front and the woman Debbie and her husband were out there. Again she totally ignored me and made no eye contact, or effort but he was very pleasant. The shop is very dark now, and they have a tiny bit of pet supplies, but it is not cute, well laid out or welcoming like Bow Wow Meow was. Before it was like a spa, now it's just dumpy. The other thing that bothered me was there was a dog in a cage in the back that was whining and one of the staff kept saying "shut up, shut up" to the poor thing. They said it like 5 times and then it sounded like someone kicked the cage. I looked out to the back area and he was cowering in the back of the cage now, he did stop whining for a bit but the poor thing looked terrified. All in all I can only give 1 star and that is solely for the husband who was really nice. read more

We are part timers in Healdsburg with three dogs. Our two dogs are actually white...I just figured the dirty gold brown color was natural. I'm always questioning if they are my dogs when they come out of the beauty salon. Not only are they beautiful but they stay so fresh for weeks. What made me decide to Yelp is my third dog is from a horrid dog meat slauter house in Yulin China. I have tried to have her nails cut on three separate occasions. Debbie had full confidence that she could do it. She was calm and was able to do a lovely job. I had vets try and they would have 3-4 people holding her down. Debbie did it herself and calmed her enough to trust her. read more

Been bringing DogDog here for about a year and a half for regular grooming. The team here are always super friendly and accommodating. And DogDog always looks fantastic when he's finished. And when he's done they have a great selection of toys, snacks, bones, bedding, etc....and we always leave with something else. Great selection. read more
