I love that she's holistic which is why I chose to go to her for my children. Kayla her medical assistant is equally hard working, has wonderful energy and is very thorough. I've been in Penn…read moreMedicine for 20 years and was worried about the pain of changing doctors and moving medical records. It was such a great surprise when I realized that I still have the same patient portal, with all my records easily available. What has struck me the most is the level of communication with the staff. My care team is easily accessible via the patient portal for questions and concerns. When ordering an additional test based on blood test results, I received a call explaining why the test was requested, what it was looking for, and not to worry :-) I'm really happy with the level of care that I'm receiving.

She has been telling me about the renovations Dr…read more Garg's office has undergone, but I had to see them in person to appreciate the significant improvement. It's by far the nicest looking doctor's office I've ever visited. As for Dr. Garg, my previous review remains true and today's visit only solidified my opinion. I don't feel awkward saying I love Dr. Garg. That may seem like an exaggeration, but if anything, it's an understatement. I am eternally grateful for the aid he has provided, and continues to provide, my wife and best friend. It took years to find a doctor with this level of intelligence, education, warmness, trustworthiness, and empathy, but Dr. Garg makes all the searching and effort worthwhile. He's more than just my wife's pain management doctor. I consider him my friend.

Dr. Lucy is great! She provides great care without compromising what she believes in. She doesn't…read moreprescribe drugs if you don't absolutely need them, so don't even think about asking her for antibiotics for your runny nose. She also makes science based recommendations instead of following the newest fads, so she probably won't agree with the latest Dr. Oz diet or believe the "I cured my cancer with diet and exercise alone" stories. She does have a great sense of humor, and will make you feel at ease in the most awkward conversations. I love that I can email her a question and get a response usually within 24hrs, and she doesn't make me feel dumb for asking ridiculous questions. She uses an online patient records portal so I can keep track of test results and make appointments online. She can usually do same day appointments too if you you give her a call. If you need blood work she takes it herself right there in the office, so no need to wait in line at the phlebotomist office. She usually has a "wait it out" approach if she doesn't think an issue is terribly urgent, which could be off putting to some people, but I think this approach makes me feel like she is putting my needs ahead of her bank account. So far she has been right! She is a blogger (https://dinosaurmusings.wordpress.com/about/) and a writer, so you can check out some her "musings" and decide if she sounds like someone you would want to be your doctor. If you don't understand/like her sense of humor, or disagree with her philosophy, she might not be right for you. She is always warm and polite, but direct when she has something important to say...and then frequently follows up with a joke. I think she is awesome, but I could see how some people might not appreciate her. She is who she is...never change Dr. Lucy!
