She maintains a clean and professional standard assuring all the social distancing standards are met. Now I'd like to rave about how much she's helped relieve me of chronic pain in a few areas I thought would never go away. I get lower back pain from time to time due to my profession and active lifestyle. Having kids to run after definitely adds to the daily stress my body takes. Melissa knew exactly where to pinpoint the problem areas and gave me tips on what to do in order to prevent or alleviate some of the bad habits that can lead to some of the pain. I was also having some pain in my elbow after the initial quarantine. It was due to being inactive for weeks and then suddenly finding myself back at the gym and lifting weights again. She used this cupping/rolling method on my forearm and arm, and also noticed that I was resting my wrist improperly which was adding to the pain. Within two days of that appointment, my elbow pain had significantly decreased. It's been a few months now since I've had any flare ups. I'm happy with her services and can't thank her enough for the pain she's helped relieve.

I was super nervous to get acupuncture done. She was so gentle that it didn't even hurt at all. Each time I come in she customizes my treatment based on what is happening in my body on that day. I always tell her where I am feeling pain and she really listens and does her very best to alleviate my issue. I've seen real results with her cupping and acupuncture. Three different times I have come in with some serious tightness and every single time I feel a ton better when I leave. The location is convenient, the room is adorable and relaxing, and Marika is just a lovely human.

I absolutely love LaVita massage!…read more I initially came to LaVita because I was given a Spa Finder gift card and they are accepted here. I did not have high hopes as most subscription based massage places have a lot of turnover and therapist that just seem like they want to get through the 50 minutes exuding the least amount of energy as possible. My massage therapist at LaVita was exactly the opposite. He asked about my trouble areas and gave me the best deep tissue massage I have ever received focusing on the knots in my back that were causing pain. Most 1 hour massages are a clinical hour "50 minutes". They give you 5 minutes to get ready and 5 minutes to get dressed. Some places take this to the next level, I've watched the clock and received 40 minutes in some cases. Not here, after 3 visits I have never felt they were limiting my massage time or putting less effort in to the massage since I subscribed to the monthly program. I highly recommend!

For the price and quality, there is no point going anywhere else…read more I've been going to Valerie for about a year and a half now. I started with prenatal massages, which you can read about in my first review, and I continued to go for a monthly massage postpartum. You cannot beat the price. She has raised her prices a little, but you can still buy a package where each massage will end up being less than $50. This is absolutely amazing when you compare it to other places. She also always goes beyond the full hour. Usually massage places take away time that you undress and get into the bed. Not Valerie. I routinely notice that I leave fifteen minutes past the hour. I get cupping done and it helps loosen my muscles. I tend to work out at least five times a week and I'm terrible at stretching so I do this as a way to try to thank my body. It is so relaxing and healing all at the same time. Whenever people talk about going other places for massages I think you're definitely paying more for the same, or lesser, quality. I should probably start voicing these opinions to be a good friend. Well, I'm telling the world here, so that should count for something. Just don't fill up my monthly massage spot!
