I agree with everyone else on this thread. I'm not sure why Debbie has such good reviews on other websites, maybe because she has changed companies?
She was our property manager for a home that we rented in North Bend and lived in for exactly one day. While addressing some other issues with the cleanliness of the house, one of Debbie's colleagues informed us that the former tenants were recovering meth addicts and that at one point there were up to 15 of them living in the very small 3 bedroom house. A neighbor told me that he had concerns about the former tenants and installed security cameras, and that there were almost certainly drugs being delivered in the mailbox. Debbie never mentioned these concerns before we signed the lease, and was unwilling to properly address our health and safety concerns. With the thousands of dollars that we had already lost, and nowhere to live, we couldn't afford testing of the walls to see if meth was smoked or cooked in the house (leaves harmful residue on the walls) or a lawyer to evaluate our case, so we moved out and Debbie rented the house to someone else.
To be fair, a lot of the issues were with the former tenants. And while I feel bad for the property manager and the owner, I feel like it should be their moral and ethical responsibility not to rent out property without sharing this information beforehand and doing their due diligence to inspect and test the home.
I've edited this review because I received an email from Yelp about complaints made against it and because I want to avoid making broad assumptions about her business practices. I don't believe any of this information is false or misleading, but I do feel like it is important to share my story so others can avoid the same issues. Based on my experience I would not recommend renting from Debbie. read more
