Great service and selection- we love to support local business so we were willing to spend more money than at Home Depot. For reference - we paid $160 for a 4 foot tree with a stand. So I would not recommend coming here for an inexpensive tree. Great selection of types and sizes. read more

It says open at 9:30am. We went there today at 9:50am. It wasn't opened. The pumpkin patch has some pumpkins, but it doesn't like a nice set up. I won't go back there again. read more

Greg was helpful upon arrival. I asked if they were still selling trees and he immediately stopped what he was doing to help me look for a tree. Debbie the owner was very pleasant and worked with me to meet my needs. She also shared her heroic story of acquiring beautiful silver tip trees. Those trees are pretty special looking. I appreciated their kind, personable touch! read more

It's a rip off. Entry doesn't cover anything hardly at all. Staff was not ready to man the rides, slides. For the money, it's not with it.

Over priced which is fine, I can live with that, but after we checked out she said "now that you've paid you can pick out any pumpkins you want for half off." Tacky and tasteless. Will never come here again read more

Way too expensive. I got 5'9'' tree with the stand for $160. It smells like dog. I can't get rid of this smell. I don't know what to do. Don't get me wrong I LOVE dogs but I got the tree to make my house smell like Christmas and now it just smells like dog. Bummed big time read more

Absolutely terrible! Customer service was horrible . None of the trees have price tags on them and when you find a tree you like, even though it's tagged 7-8ft they come with a measuring stick hold it at angle and say sorry we have to charge you for 9ft. Which by the way 7-8ft is anywhere from $165-$249. And 9ft starts at $250. Absolutely awful. We went there because we wanted to support the small business or the little guy but I will never go there again. read more

Extremely disappointed in this tree lot. Debbie is rude and would not honor the tree stand price her employee (who was very kind) quoted. We ended up paying more than quoted, which I can live with but what's sad is to see local business owners treat customers in a mean- spirited manner. I will NOT ever buy a tree from them. With so much competition in the area, you would think she would treat people that come to her tree lot better. Don't bother giving business to this place. Many kinder places in the area. Merry Christmas! read more

Debbie & Jeffs (sic) Christmas Trees has been a Hermosa tradition for over 30 years. Our family has gotten many of our trees from Debbie and Jeff. There's nothing like the smell of a real Christmas Tree to get me in the mood of Christmas. The Christmas Tree lot is located on the Northwest corner of PCH and 21st street. Debbie and Jeff setup their business as Debbie and Jeffs Pumpkin Patch in October and then start up the Christmas Tree lot at the end of November. I love shopping for Christmas Trees on a chilly December evening with my family. It's cold enough to see your own breath, but you feel warm and cozy with a hot cocoa and the closeness of being with someone you love. You feel that warm glow of excitement of knowing that you'll find that perfect tree. You walk down aisles and aisles of wonderful smelling trees trying to find the tree that will reveal itself to you. You see the huge majestic Noble Firs, the bushy scratchy Douglas Firs and the loveable "Charlie Brown" Silver Tips. Finally, you see the "one", just the right height, just the right girth, just the right fullness. You've found your tree! The Christmas Tree (Yule Tree) started as a beautiful German custom, an expression of German culture. It was adopted by the British Royal Family in the mid-19th century and through images of the Royal Family around their tree, was popularized by the press in Britain and America. Today, the Christmas Tree is the quintessential component for a great Christmas. Debbie & Jeff's sell the complete tree buying experience. If you are just looking for a cheap tree, go to Home Depot. Debbie & Jeffs have a fair sized lot and their trees are fully displayed, not simple bundles, all tied up with string. They have all sizes of trees from gigantic 20 footers to little 2 foot Christmas bushes. They expertly trim the trees and will install a metal stand if you wish. They also offer a flocking service for $4.00 per foot. They offer several varietals of trees. The Douglas Firs and Silver Tips are priced at $10.00 per foot and the Noble Firs are $14.00 per foot. They also offer delivery for $25.00 (tip not included). They will have a couple of strong teenagers bring the tree to your house and set it up any way that you want. The service is very personalized and they will help you get just the right tree for any house. I have had wonderful experiences over the years with Debbie & Jeffs. Our family's most memorable Christmas Trees were all purchased from Debbie & Jeffs. Merry Christmas everyone! read more

Do not waste your time or money here, not a place to bring your children or family. You'll get cussed out then buy an overpriced tree. Home Depot is 5 minutes down the road, with a huge beautiful and fresh selection, great prices, and you're allowed to open up trees. We have been going to Debbie's to buy our tree for the last 10 years. We know her personally. But today was the worst experience imaginable. We were harassed by their vulgar and inappropriate employee. She got in my sisters face and used the f-word on multiple occasions. Asking her what her, "f****ing name was and to get "the f**k out". Children had to cover their ears. Then when we went to tell Debbie the owner, her employee kept yelling in our faces saying we were liars. Debbie condoned her employees behavior. This wasn't an isolated incident. Multiple customers were being yelled at. We were looking at trees in the tent, you would imagine if this was not allowed, they would have a sign or politely ask us to allow them to get the trees out for us. There was not many to select from on the floor. We were about to purchase a $300 tree, and so were our other family members. We had them all picked out until the tree police arrived. Buying a tree is suppose to be a joyous and fun family experience. What an absolute nightmare. We happily drove 2 miles down the road to Home Depot and purchased 4 large trees for a third of the price. The employees were kind and immensely helpful at Home Depot. They promised not to cuss us out like Debbie's place. We will not be returning and will be communicating to our friends and community to not purchase from you. This place is not family friendly. Stay clear. read more

They have a petting zoo with a lot of friendly farm animals and jumpers. 10/10 would highly recommend. read more

THE best tree lot and a real institution in the South Bay. Beautiful and fresh trees year after year. Really disappointed with them. My family has bought trees from them for years just to try to support them but when we arrived today the owner Debbie was screaming at a family in front of their kids because they asked if they could get the tree at a lower price. Then when we picked out our tree, we were standing next to it when an employee came over screaming at us because we were standing in the wrong area. The employee started screaming the "f word" over and over at us in front of my little sister. She totally lost it on us and refused to give my father her name. Debbie did not care when we told her what happened. This place is not what Christmas is about. It put us all in a really weird sad mood and we were obviously not the only family treated this way. We went to Home Depo and got a beautiful tree for $65 instead of the $200-$300/tree we would normally spend supporting Debbie and Jeff. I will never go back to the Debbie and Jeff tree lot. Negative stars. I highly recommend the beautiful and fairly priced trees we found at Home Depo and there employees were awesome. read more

Save your time and go somewhere else. Dishonest company where owner has a poor attitude. Picked out a tree. Was quoted $55 after it was measured. Then when we were paying the owner came out and jacked the price up to $66. When we said we'd be okay with paying $60-she flat out yelled NOPE. Time to visit a kinder Christmas tree lot. There are several in the neighborhood. read more

Bought our tree from a lot near our house in Redondo last year for about $60. This year, that lot was replaced by Debbie & Jeffs. I got one of the smallest trees they had (plus a stand) and it cost me $122!!! It's smaller than the $60 tree I got last year...and the same size as the one my parents got for $40 at Home Depot a few weeks ago. I won't make the same mistake of buying from this "mom and pop" lot again next year! Also, the employee who helped us was not very friendly. Tis the season, Scrooge! read more

BEST place to get the right Christmas tree for you in the area. 3 years in a row with an absolutely flawless experience. They usually have 2 locations along PCH so don't hesitate to check out both. Better trees and more variety than you'll find at any generic seller. Reps are so friendly and give the most welcoming vibe. We'll keep coming here for pumpkins and trees as long as they keep showing up every year. Easy 10/10. read more

So, it's my baby's first Halloween and we wanted pictures at the pumpkin patch and to have him pick out some pumpkins. I got him all dressed up and ready early so we could have some fun before his morning nap. I get to the patch, 10 minutes after 9a, when it's supposed to be open. And it was all gated up! The animals and pumpkins were all there, but no access! I called the number they posted on their website. No answer. I drove around the block and called 2 more times. No answer. I waited outside until 9:30 and left. When you have to bring kids/babies, it is NOT cool to not be open the day before Halloween, when you say you will be! Boo :( Updated to add- we went this year (2016) because my little one had a great play date there. They were open and it seemed nice for the crap location (on super busy Sepulveda) We took lots of pictures, bought their animal feed for the petting area and even bought pumpkins and Debbie couldn't have been more RUDE and dismissive. I cannot believe people allow this sort of business to continue. I will NEVER go back and i will make sure everyone i know is aware of this poor behavior. read more

My daughter had been going to this pumpkin patch for 3 years, trying to support a local business. Tonight we had a horrible experience here. I was here visiting from out of town, and went with her, my other two daughters and my grandchildren. We wandered around looking at the pumpkins and animals and then took a picture with the kids. We then picked out a large pumpkin and as my other daughters were loading the car, we attempted to pay for the pumpkin. It was then that we were basically berated and verbally attached by the owner. She said she couldn't believe we were only buying ONE pumpkin. After all the time we had spent at HER pumpkin patch, the LEAST we could do was buy one pumpkin per mother! She was assuming each of my daughters were mother's... Which they are not. She continued to go on and on complaining about us not spending more money. She complained that people come every year and take advantage of her by just taking pictures and walking around her pumpkin patch but then not buying anything or just buying a small pumpkin. We had purchased a $25 pumpkin, but she obviously didn't care about that. My daughter told her that this was her third year coming to her pumpkin patch... But she wasn't listening to that either. She went on and on and even though my daughter told her she was sorry she was having such troubles... An apology she didn't deserve... She kept berating us for still not buying more. Her tone was so harsh, that my eight year old granddaughter was in tears once we got in the car. So needless to say my daughter will NOT be returning next year to this pumpkin patch and I HIGHLY recommend that you AVOID it with your families!! It is Not worth your money and especially not worth your time. read more
