This was such a fun experience for our family! Convenient location, large enough to have an afternoon of activities for the little one. Not as large as some of the pumpkin patches that are far away, but to save a far drive this was perfect. Love that they give you vouchers with your ticket price for pumpkins. If you buy pumpkins it's almost like the entry is free. They have a wonderful selection of pumpkins - varieties I have never even see before! Shawn's pumpkin patch is located in Culver City, the entrance is on Machado blvd, and this year is the first time at this new location. They have affordable entrance fee $3 for adult and children over 12, although you almost have to pay everything else inside. The field is set up on the triangle shape of the intersections, and it's relatively small and packed. The layout is so random and disorganized, no clear lines for entrance to different programs. They don't seem treat their animals very well, I overheard one of their employees argued with a customer who cared about the pony. read more

This pumpkin patch was so cute, and very dog-friendly. The entrance was only $3 (including a $2 voucher towards pumpkins), and every activity inside cost about $5. It was a smaller pumpkin patch, but was still so fun and had lots of photo ops and different activities, many kid-friendly like games, art and pony rides. My personal favorite was the petting zoo! They had goats, bunnies, pigs, sheep, and an alpaca, and also sold feed for only $1. Food options looked tasty and classic as well. I happened to pass by this place years ago and remembered about their yearly pumpkin patch event. I took my gf here to check out pumpkins to pick out. Parking is very limited and I parked about 2 blocks away in a residential area. Entry to the pumpkin patch is free. There are a few food stalls, photo spots, animal petting zoo, and rides crammed into a parking lot. Pumpkins were ~$1.15 per pound. The photo spots were pretty cute and I took some with my gf. The rest of the pumpkin patch was pretty sad. 1 jumping harness thing and a kiddie train ride. The animal petting zoo was by far the most depressing thing I've seen all year. The animals looked like they were going to pass out or kick the bucket at any moment. Overall, this was an interesting pumpkin patch experience. Wish there was a way to put zero stars, spoke to an old man "Shawn" about how we double checked on there website before hand about taking my professionally trained Cane Corsos with a collar and leash , our breed was not listed for "aggressive breeds" on their website. We waited in line with my autistic nephew, and the girls did not show any aggression towards anyone and they still wanted us to put a muzzle on my dogs when she was by our side sitting down. We told "Shawn" that they should be more specific on their website about "aggressive breeds". There was a golden retriever that was walking and barking inside the pumpkin patch and on their site it mentioned to take their dogs out if it's barking. Wasted gas and my time going there to be denied entry and they denied my sister in law who is pregnant to at least use the restroom. read more

In multiple instances the staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable from a worker giving our toddler the prize stuffed animal (after 3 paid attempts) to the man at concessions letting us taste a few options of juice before we purchased. The entry is cheap ($3 or free depending on when you go) and most activities were $5 each, which was a steal compared to other pumpkin patches we've been too. My first time at Shawn's Pumpkin Patch! I only go to pumpkin patches to take cute photos of my dogs so my review will be mainly about that. Free on weekdays so I went on a weekday evening before sunset! Lots of cute photo ops and they're all spread out so you won't be in the way of others while taking photos. Lots of pumpkins and there's a little corn maze too! I'm glad it's dog friendly! There are also a few food stands and games but didn't really check those out. We spent a good 45ish mins walking around checking out the cute photo ops and I'd say it was a successful pumpkin patch visit! Ample free parking in a dirt lot so that's a bonus! read more

This pumpkin patch was my absolute favorite. It really was the perfect size. Everything u could imagine they have; petting zoo, pony ride, big slides and more. The staff was exceptional, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The worker on the carousel ride was interacting with the kids which made me so happy. We went today and i was so excited for all the festive fall stuff, but honestly the ponies bummed me out. Those poor animals are stuck walking in a circle all day and night. they look depressed and sad- can't blame them. There are so many activities here- no need to have ponies and make them do that. And there were people with dogs barking at the petting zoo animals and scaring them. Why bring your dog? I have two dogs but this isn't the place for them. So it all kinda sucked when it would have been great with all the rides, pumpkins, etc. I hope they'll NOT continue with the ponies. Really sad to see them living like that. read more

It's the same place that used to be on the corner lot of Santa Monica Blvd and Barrington. Way well organized and very well run. You could say it's a little pricey but def not TOO bad. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's free to enter and walk around, you buy tokens for the activities and games. Parking lot is bigger than it appears and they had a staff member on a golf cart directing to empty spots that were available. Street parking if lot is full definitely not the end of the world. On October 31 of this, our second COVID-era year, I went to Shawn's Pumpkin Patch with my husband, our friends, and our two pandemic-born toddlers to celebrate their first Halloween outing and get some cute photos of the kiddies in costume. Having never been to a pumpkin patch on Halloween proper, I was a little worried that it would be crowded and unenjoyable, but we were determined to hit up Shawn's after busting out at a puny, pathetic pumpkin patch the prior weekend. This place at least looked legit. It was wonderful. We showed up a little after noon and were able to park in the lot with minimal hassle. Entry was free, with tokens available for purchase for the petting zoo and rides. Our 20-month-olds were content to walk around taking in all the activity, so this Yelp review is my only payment to Shawn's Pumpkin Patch so far. We got some great baby and family photos among the hay and pumpkins. My boy was a tiny Tony Soprano, and he looked pretty fantastic in his white bathrobe and chain necklace. We only stayed for 45 minutes or so, but we had a great time and plan to come back for more Halloween fun (and oh yea, they sell pumpkins too for when the kid is old enough to demand we carve them). They had markers to social distance but no one enforcing it and that was a little frustrating as the people behind clearly didn't care. Great local pumpkin patch. Location: located across Trader Joe's on Sepulveda and Palms. Entrance is on Sepulveda, Maps might direct you to the Palms entrance but we found out that's exit only in that side. Just a tip. No entrance fee which is great and while there were small lines nothing crazy. Free activities include, a small hay maze, cute photo set ups and access to a small snack bar. Tokens were $3.50 each and if you bought 10, you got one free. Activites: Pumpkin bouncy house (5 mins of jumping for a token), Inflatable shark and frog slide (3 turns down the slide for 1 token). Rock climbing wall (2 attempts for 2 tokens), 2 arcade games (10 tries for 1 token), a train ride (2 laps for 1 token), petting zoo (1 token, animal food $1) I found this the worst part. There was no line but the workers counted every time my child went down the frog slide and cut them off right at 3. I thought that was a little greedy. The girl that worked the shark slide let the kids go again and again as long as there was no line and it was a much better experience. Same with the rock climbing, some kids got almost unlimited chances while others were promptly pulled off at 2 attempts. All in all, it was close and the photo ops were cute. However it was over priced for activities and I felt they were very stingy with the time limits. read more
