After going back and forth, they said they could meet at 11 am on Saturday. Now, Saturday came, my husband was in the online meeting room, but nobody showed up. He waited for 30 minutes there and ended the online meeting. Now, after he left home, Evelyn called him and said she had forgotten the meeting, with no legitimate reason. And after wasting part of his weekend, she told him that they only offer the full management service and do not help just with finding a tenant. The purview of their service is fine; that is their choice, but this could certainly be communicated via email instead of going through this unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I was surprised to find many great reviews about this company, which was good for them, but I guess our need wasn't lucrative enough for them to care if you can drop a meeting they scheduled without giving a legitimate reason.

Again my agent gave me WRONG information. I am attaching a picture of his text and you can see that clearly he did not know about our non- homestead tax until July. The picture is for after I confronted him that the initial information he gave me was incorrect. Also we wrote our own objection letter with ZERO advice or help from our agent. He just shared our letter with the seller and did not negotiate those items, We Did. He even had no idea we are getting a new furnace. I told him that if he asked about that in advance we would pay the difference to install a high efficiency furnace rather than an 80% and he admitted he had no idea. Our agent tried to accommodate our constraints when it came to giving us tours. After we withdrew from our first offer (since the house turned out to be modular in the inspection), many texts and calls went unanswered or were answered really late. we value knowledge and considering Buyer's benefit in a buyer's agent (rather than early closing) unfortunately our relator John did not fully meet our expectation in that regard. If you are okay with receiving the wrong information you can choose them. Below I describe our experience with our agent : For the property that we purchased, I noticed the high taxes and asked him about the reason before making an offer. He mentioned it is because the property is non-homestead and we can change this status right after closing to prevent higher taxes. Given his incomplete and in my mind false information, I thought we can homestead the property and avoid high taxes right after closing. When I reviewed the taxes around the closing time I noticed that we are paying the high taxes and told him about miss informing me. He mentioned that it is only a three-month extra tax until Dec +/-$700 and was not worth negotiating. Again he was wrong because I called the township and noticed that the summer tax is still non-homestead and I cannot change that until July of next year. Long story short, either he genuinely did not know about this tax issue or he misinformed us. Both of which are unacceptable for an experienced realtor.

We hired her to sell our late mother's home, during an already difficult and emotional time. Initially, she seemed compassionate and competent. But the moment we signed the contract, she vanished. We went weeks without communication. When we finally brought it up, she responded with an offensive and insensitive excuse that I won't repeat here out of basic respect -- something she clearly lacks. Even our late mother was disrespected in the process, both in her words and in her complete lack of empathy. At one point, Linda even confused our property with another client's -- her own buyer's specialist had to step in and correct her. That showed us how little attention or care she gave to our situation. Referring to our mother's belongings as "junk" was another degrading moment we'll never forget. Accessing the property became a struggle because she refused to give us access without a code -- and since she never answers her phone or shows up, that became a nightmare. All of the actual work fell on her buyer's specialist (who, to be clear, was the only professional one in this ordeal). Linda didn't even bother to attend the closing. Excuse after excuse, absence after absence. What hurts the most is that we were grieving and needed someone reliable and respectful. Instead, we were treated like an afterthought while she collected a commission check she barely lifted a finger to earn. Dan is unbelievable. I'd think he was made up if I hadn't met him personally. Kind, funny, warm, and welcoming. He is competent and extremely knowledgeable without a touch of condescension, professional but inviting and always open to questions. And you can rest assured, we asked him about a billion questions. Usually late at night via email when we were entering Panic Mode. Any time, every time, Dan was quick to respond, always diligent to provide an answer or get in contact with someone who could provide the answer. We had Dan recommended to us by some friends who were just closing on a house. They had fielded through several agents without satisfaction before finding Dan. We decided to shoot him an email and get in touch. Immediately, he asked us for details about the things we wanted in a house and about our lifestyle so that he could set up search parameters for us in the MLS. He was going out of town for a long weekend and nonetheless actively responded to us, even contacted a colleague to show us houses while he was away. When he got back to town, he let us know he was ready to schedule more tours and got to work doing just that. Later the same week, we walked into the house that we loved and would later buy. The house already had an offer on it at asking price, so Dan came up with an offer strategy that would get us the house if we wanted. And we wanted. Dan got to work, gave us our own homework assignment to do, and that night we had an offer submitted. The next day, he notified us that the seller had accepted our offer! Every single step of the process, Dan kept in communication and always updated us as to the state of things. When unexpected concerns or questions came up along the way, we felt comfortable going to Dan and he always provided solutions or the assurance and information we needed. He was our advocate and I am extremely grateful for his expertise in all of this. I have no intention of ever using another agent. More to the point: Did I mention how funny he is? Hilarious. Great sock collection, too. We closed on our house this weekend, and even that process was explained to us in detail so that we didn't feel overwhelmed, out of sorts, or even all that concerned.
