The company that did the test said they would gladly do the test but CMB refuses to do so. They have lied and have been deceptive and dishonest. Be extremely leery of renting from them.

At first we were reticent to be with a new company that we didn't know anything about, but Jones quickly showed that they cared and gained our trust. They were always responsive to our questions or requests, and truly cared about making the building a nice place to live. They never did just the bare minimum needed to get by and were willing to invest money and time into our property when necessary. I would highly recommend renting from them if you're looking in Ann Arbor.

We had a meeting mid 2015 to review what was happening, here I asked about getting a new storm door put on the house. They said they had one from another property and would check the size. After a few months I followed up they said it never fit. They never contacted me about replacing with a new door. I asked for a specific model from Home Depot. No response. I asked if they could measure the door so I might order and install myself. Weeks and months went by, no response. Finally I found a $49 charge on my account for the measure. I asked for the measurements. They said "we have them". I asked again to send me the measurements but they never did. This is still an outstanding issue currently (more than 1 year later). Moreover, I'm battling a bigger issue (currently unresolved). There is a water leak in the house and they haven't fixed it. The tenants are not happy because they reported it in the fall of 2016. The management company has done nothing. The tenants stopped paying rent in rebellion. Foxway did not notify me rent was not being paid. In our contract they are to inform me of any issues over $500. Another tedious process of reaching out to them and not having my phone calls returned. Additionally, I started looking into other things. They could not send me a current lease agreement, contact info to the tenants nor pictures of the recent walk through of the home. After more than a month of emails and phone calls I got the lease agreement with the Tenants names. At this point I continued to request the other items with the addition of a monthly rental about what is happening each month at the property. This would include November 2016, however I have yet to see any reports, nor have they fulfilled other agreements to me.

I had a pretty good year renting an apartment through Cabrio. However, issues began to arise when…read moreit came to their renter's insurance third-party company. The service that they use and choose to pay takes months to add in renters' insurance information, adds extra charges in the meantime, and will not remove the extra charges despite them confirming multiple times that they will. I had called their third-party service multiple times regarding extra charges, and had gotten confirmation from cabrio itself that all of our rent payments were properly taken care of, so I was extremely surprised when I saw a deduction on our security deposit for utility charges that had most definitely been paid. I contacted the property and was informed that we had extra charges, and I repeatedly asked if it was due to insurance charges and if I could be refunded if it was, because the insurance and rent were paid on the same account. After getting some attitude for reminding them of Michigan law regarding withholding a deposit for unauthorized charges, I called cabrio and they told me to call Lease track and they informed me that I would have to call Cabrio and have Cabrio contact Lease Track since I do not have a Lease Track account, but cabrio does. Now I am unsure of when or how I will get refunded, and cabrio appears to have zero concern for the third party they select.

Update: After the review was posted a team contacted me and waived fees , provide account update and explained the initial payment schedule initiated by a third party company wasn't accurate.
