When moving from the San Francisco Bay area to Detroit, one of our first priorities was defined an…read moreawesome chiropractor. We have been in chiropractic care for over 10 years in the Bay Area and it has made a difference in our mobility, spine health and overall feeling of fitness. When evaluating chiropractors, there were a few things that I considered : 1. Method of chiropractic care. I was looking specifically for a chiropractor who had an adjustable table and would do manual adjustments and manipulations. Specifically, the chiropractor that we had in the bay area. Also practice sports medicine and focus focused on flexibility. 2. Availability of hours. We were looking for a chiropractor that would also be able to meet our appointment needs which we're going to be after our working day as it is very hard for us to step away from the office. 3. Great bedside manner. We were also looking for a chiropractor that wouldn't be too crunchy and professional and fairly expedient. 4. This could be the most important one, but the fees charges upfront costs and explanation of benefits. Having worked with a chiropractor for over a decade I knew how important it was that the front of the office was run smoothly and we were charged the correct amount for our fees and transparent on the treatment plan. We were very happy that Dr. Nate at Clairpointe Family Chiropractic was able to meet all four of our criteria and we have been going to Dr. Nate religiously every Monday sometimes twice a week if needed for our routine care for the last two years. Dr. Nate has helped me recover my mobility from the birth of my twins, as well as keep my spine healthy as my body goes through many of the changes that you can expect. Working at a computer every day also comes with a lot of pain and tension that he is able to alleviate with his skillful hands. After having the girls, Dr. Nate even assisted us with making sure the girls spines were correct and an alignment (no real adjustments as they are babies) which was great peace of mind for a first time mom knowing the importance that a correctly forming spine can have on the rest of your life. The front of the office is fantastic. The administrative people are very transparent, and Dr. Nate personally went through are portion of the care plan and they even took our insurance. This was a nice surprise because in California most chiropractors leave it to you to file your own insurance claims and you are responsible for the entire amount and you have to get your money back from whatever benefits you have from your insurance company directly. The staff at Clairpointe Family Chiropractic made the claims for us and gave us unexpected fee that we would have to pay after our insurance was processed. They were very transparent on this portion and they said sometimes the insurance takes a long to process the claims that there may be a screwup if they do not pay based on the coverage that we have and we fully understood that. I say all this because I did see a review that said they do not process their payments correctly and I wanted to address that concern you may have as looking for a new Chiropractor directly because it is quite the opposite experience that we have had and they are very prompt transparent and customer service oriented. I Highly recommend Clairpointe Chiropractic and we will continue to be patients.

Dr. Bleggi and Dr. Hunter are extremely knowledgeable, professional, gentle, and friendly. I have a history of a very bad back, but they have always been able to alleviate the pain, often times in just one visit. While in college (out of town), I visited a couple different chiropractors for my back pain. Unfortunately, they "over adjusted" me and I was in extreme pain. I know this is a fear of many chiropractic patients and it truly is scary. I can honestly say I've never had that experience at Tooma. Dr. Bleggi and Dr. Hunter have always delivered gentle, yet effective adjustments and treatment. Without hesitation, I recommend Tooma Chiropractic Clinic. You couldn't receive better chiropractic care.

I was excited that I could get chiropractic help and a massage in the same office. When I first went to see Dr.Roberts he spent the time to discuss my entire past medical history and what I was continuing to have issues with. He seemed to know a lot about sports injuries which made me feel more confident in choosing him. After taking some x-rays he used roller tables, stretching, and manipulation to help me get back in alignment. Man did I feel good after that! I could def use that a few times a week . The doctor also explained stretches\exercises I should do to keep loose and help strengthen the weaker areas of my back. I was happy he spent the time to answer all my questions and I'm looking forward to going back for more adjustments and to get a massage from one of the massage therapist. Since I have gone to see Dr.Roberts my wife and brother have also went to see him with good results.

Add to this I always sleep amazingly deep the night after a massage from Rebecca and it's not just that she technically knows her stuff, its her! She is grounded and take the time and energy to truly connect with you, feel what you need and then deliver a beautiful and healing massage. If I lived closer I would want her to work on me every month. For now I will just have to catch as catch can and go whenever I am near! She has got to be an amazing asset to this Chiropractic Office. I am a 460 year old male who has had back problems my whole life. It started when I was 13. I have…read morealways been athletic and in good shape and even with back issues played sports. My back would go out and freeze up 2-3 times a year on average for about 3-4 days and then I could function. This happened for 25 years until 2 years ago my back went out in February 16. This time was different I didn't recover from it after 2 weeks and it was getting worse.I was bed ridden and could not function as my pain level was of the charts I went to the doctors and they did the same they always do x-ray. The day of the x-ray getting back into my car I basically got paralyzed and couldn't move. I ended up in the hospital that day with a pain level that was worse than anything I ever felt. Turned out I had a BULGING DISC AND HERNIATED DISC. That had been my problem the whole time since i was a kid.The disc has been pushing on my spinal cord causing it to freeze up. The difference now is my disc burst and was leaking fluid onto my spinal cord. This was shown from my MRI which was the first I've received. The doctors wanted to cut out my L5 and S1 disc and put one rod on each side of my spine with 3 screws in each side. At first I wanted to do the surgery because I only wanted to not suffer anymore. However the more I looked into the results of the surgery the more I changed my mind. The stories I herd were horrible about recovery and results. I started doing research and came across Laser Spinal Decompression. They claimed to have a 90% success rate. Well I was like BS there no way it can be that good. I went to a appointment to see what they had to say and left there feeling like it could not be true. I thought long and had and canceled my surgery and decided to give this treatment a try. Even tho it wasn't covered by Insurance. So I went to the treatment and had immediate results the pressure on my back got a little relief. Mind you at this point I felt a pain level of 9 all day every day and tailbone felt like it was loose with bolts loose. Not to mention my hips were killing and I could not sit down on any seat for more than 2 minutes. I kept going and was feeling better and better after the 10 or so visit I started to want to walk and get some exercise. After the 21 visits I felt amazing I had played tennis and basketball among other things. So hear I am two years later and I feel amazing I dropped 25 pounds and Have my life back I can work and go out and do pretty much anything I want. Now I still go to the treatment and will NEVER stop going. I have done 3 rounds of it and it has saved my life for sure. I use to say I could see how someone would want to end there life with this type m of thing. I didn't feel like a man or a provider because I simply was broken. BUT NOT ANY MORE!!!
