We didn't want to leave our special event captured by any random photographer, so we did a lot of research on internet prior to finalizing one. Once we had conversation with Bhavin and checking out his previous work, we knew he was the one. We had telephonic conversation with him and he asked all right questions and made us feel like we had a skilled artist working with us. On the day of event, he arrived right on time (actually a little early so he got himself familiarize with the venue). He was very friendly with everyone and all our guests loved his polite efficiency.The special moments of us and our guests which we might have missed as the host, we were able to see it through Bhavin's lens. Bhavin was great to work with throughout the entire process and very very responsive. We got a few sneak peak pictures almost immediately following our event and the whole gallery followed shortly. We did hear that some photographers make you wait for months to release photos to clients, but Bhavin gave ours within few weeks. But the headaches started when it was time to actually get our pictures. The digital images were ready pretty quickly, but we ordered a bunch of prints to give out as holiday gifts. Long and short of it is that after several attempts at reaching Twana, and a bunch of excuses on her end, we finally got our pictures about 2 and a half months after initially ordering them. Way too late to give out as gifts like we had hoped.

As a first time bride with limited…read moreexperience working with a professional photographer and a lot of anxiety about being photographed, I can honestly say Sarah was an absolute dream to work with and more than compensated for my complete incompetence ("where do I put my hands?!") to create beautiful photographic memories for us and our families. Our wedding took place outside of NY (she travels!), but in the months leading up to the ceremony Sarah set up several calls, emails and a video chat with me and my husband to get to know us and what we valued most in terms of capturing the day. From the start, communication was very easy and I felt like she offered sound advice while also honoring our wishes. Sarah offers several tiers of service - we opted to have her add a second photographer - and that was money well spent since we had multiple venues throughout the day that needed coverage. Sarah clearly loves what she does and that was apparent throughout the process. On our wedding day she and her 2nd photographer were friendly yet professional, I honestly didn't notice them at all during the entire ceremony and they got some great natural shots without blocking anyone or distracting from the proceedings, which I know can be a challenge. Sarah was gracious and kept a good sense of humor throughout, which was much appreciated - especially when a hail and wind storm broke out in the middle of our couples shoot on top of a mountain pass :) She made it work and the photos still looked stunning. The following day, she sent us a preview gallery of about 20 shots, with the full gallery available in about six weeks. Purchasing prints from her website is also very easy. In sum, I definitely recommend hiring Sarah - I couldn't be happier with her service as well as the quality of the photographs.
