My photos are scanned and shared with me via Google Drive usually within 1 week of drop off. They also have good prices for prints, especially smaller sizes. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there is plenty of street parking near the store. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. I am just learning about film photography and don't know much about digital photography, but the shop has plenty of cameras, lenses, and other supplies worth checking out!

The honest answer was I wanted to preserve the cameras. So that if my nephews or nieces, decided that they wanted to shoot when they got olde. They could shoot with these old school digital cameras. So I bought new batteries. New cards had them serviced. Got a little screen thing for them to look at and then. Put everything into cases. This place was incredible and their turnaround time was way past my expectations. I brought them every single camera. I found that I thought someone 12- 20 would like to fiddle around with. The turnaround was short and the staff there were very sweet. Today, I came in for help because I could not recover photos I had on my external hard drive. Soon thereafter a box arrived from scan diego. I took a while to fill the box. When I went to have these photos scanned, they refused even when I arrived with the box THEY provided. They demanded proof that I " actually donated " to KPBS. Really??? Don't use these guys. I'm telling KPBS not to use these guys either. They don't honor their promises.
