IN OTHER WORDS THEY 100% LIED IN ORDER TO EXTORT MONEY FROM ME! do not under any circumstances take your car here, i am genuinely shocked an appalled that they so brazenly attempted to rip me off. for the sake of complete transparency McNiells did say that my DRLs were not working and that they were a fail on MVI, this is true, however it was a matter of simply installing new light bulbs and they wanted $120 of labour just to determine why the DRLs werent working so that wouldnt have even included putting new bulbs in.

It was revealed to be only minor damage, so it only ran us around $160. It was an unexpectedly low price point, and we were back on the road within 2 hours. His name is Barry Pincock but he now goes by Barry Von Werth.. Definitely check those names out before you purchase. Also, my inspection is being looked over by DOT. Because the car was a complete failure within 300 km. When I get the report back from DOT. I'll make another post and I'll let you know what they said. Extreme caution with these people. Gouging new owners and NEVER returning. Wish I could leave ZERO stars…read more Long gone is the reputable and fair way that the original owners operated this business. My family went here for YEARS, but the new ownership will soon ruin that for anyone who used to go here. My son recently brought his car there to have ONE tire *(which he provided, himself) installed and balanced and was charged $57.50, when they only charge $100 for all four. I approached the manager and asked him if this was a mistake and seemed exorbitant and unfair......and he assured me it was not. No respect and unethical. Hope they invested my son's money wisely, as they've seen the last of my family coming to them. No value, no fairness, not returning. I doubt they care much, as their lot is completely jammed up (to the point that you can't find parking) with Auction Direct cars, meaning they are now more interested in flipping cars, than repairing them, anyway.

I'm pretty sure this is a family run place and the guys working there seem to know most of their customers by name and always stop to chat with everybody who comes in. Nobody wants to go to a mechanic, but when it has to happen, these guys are a solid choice.

I had trouble with a slow drain taking the charge from my battery over a year long period of time…read more I paid for a starter assembly, an new battery, and many hours of labour searching for a faulty wire which was never found. My brother saved me from being sold a new alternator by giving me a meter to show when the battery was receiving a charge...the alternator WAS charging the battery. The issue was simply resolved by a friend. A $9.99 part which separated the connection between the car and the battery. I can't believe that I spent over a thousand dollars and still the problem was not fixed. It is difficult to accept that I could have resolved the problem with a ten dollar fix. It pays to ask around and do not blindly trust your mechanic to do the right thing. They didn't even diagnose the problem correctly. Be cautious; don't accept the 60 second diagnosis you're given: especially when it concerns electrical issues.
