Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience ordering for Mother's Day…read more The flowers were delivered on the wrong date without any prior contact, despite paying an additional fee for delivery on a specific day. I followed their instructions and emailed the same day to report the issue, but over a week passed with no response or apology. I had to call the store multiple times over the following weeks just to get any acknowledgement. My original email was never addressed. To make matters worse, when I finally reached someone (the owner, Valerie, I believe), my call was abruptly ended. Overall, this was the poorest customer service experience I've had with a business. I would not recommend ordering here based on my experience.

Was very skimpy and the basket didn't even resemble the website photos. Certainly not worth the price I paid. I live in Ottawa, otherwise I would have visited your location to chose my order. Then I would know what I was buying. I realize there may be substitutions but at least create the actual size shown on your site, of the overall arrangement. The only good thing is that my Sister does not know the difference so basically was very happy to receive this gift from me. Dorothy S.

Heather became my literal hero during my planning of a last-minute elopement. Not only is she an…read moreamazingly talented photographer, but she went above and beyond even before our special day to ensure all the last minute details were worked out. She had awesome vendor recommendations and seemed as if she had done this hundreds of times. If you're looking for someone who is thoughtful, calm, and humble... Heather is your girl! On our wedding day, she was a helping hand to my fiancé, encouraged us to reflect during our photos, and laughed along with us as if she had known us for years. We just received our "sneak peeks" from our elopement and we couldn't be more pleased. Her editing is just what my fiancé and I were hoping to find! She let us be ourselves but also gently guided and directed us for more natural poses. We are so grateful for Heather and the moments she captured. If we ever needed a photographer in the future, Heather would be our first pick!

Heather is one of the sweetest, most professional and talented people I've ever met. Upon…read moreresearching countless photographers for our wedding, I found it difficult to sift through the melancholic, carbon copy style of modern photographers and old school cheese-please styled photographers. Then I found Heather's site linked somewhere among multiple recommendations. I clicked on that link, and found myself very lucky. I am obsessed with her light, airy and natural photography style accurately portrayed through the galleries on her very professional website. The vibe I got from her site, and through her photos made me desperate to contact her as I felt our (my fiance and I) style and approach would be best represented through her skill and photos. It's unique enough to make her stand out above the rest but also timeless enough to be applied to almost anyone. She is very personable, understanding, calm and trustworthy. You feel at ease in front of her camera. She will be shooting our wedding in a few weeks but we've just gone through an engagement session with her and received those pictures. I am so happy I chose her to memorialize one of (if not, the most) the most special days of our lives. It's almost bittersweet she will be moving to the Victoria, BC area, but I will be forever grateful I found and met her before then. Thank you so much Heather!!

Participated in a recent conference here. The layout of the building is tight, restricting movement…read moreand preventing wide open spaces from even existing. Techs running presentations were complaining about the main hall being an echo chamber, leading to subdued volume levels for the first full day of the conference. The conference centre was sufficiently clean, but the entire building was not maintained through the conference. A stench was present for the entire conference at one of the key connection points to the host hotel, so you got to get a whiff of it a number of times through the duration. Catering was underwhelming. The majority of meals were handheld, extras were sparse, and the only plated meal of significance was the final one of the conference. If you can get better food several steps from the conference hall, you need to do a better job. Overall the conference was a good experience. However, the drawbacks of the building were apparent. I hope future conferences have this in mind.

On Feb 10 and 11, Chef to Go offered one of the best 5 course meals that I have ever tasted. From the local smoked salmon and brie tarte, to the squash soup with carmelized pears on the bottom and stabilized beer foam on the top, to the melt-in-your mouth pork prepared by the sous-vide method, to the perfectly cooked white fleshed turbot on peas pudding ( with a hint of wasabi), to the beet ice cream --everything was supurb! And for the roughy 16 patrons each night, all served in a warm and inviting dining room . All this for only $200 a couple. A friend asked how we had "scored" an invitation to this dinner. It was easy--just check the website or call and ask Bob about his next dinner. My only concern about writing this review is that we may not be able to " score" a ticket for the next occassion. But something this good is meant to be shared.
