He is even unwilling to listen to the fact that the tub had 50+ compliants against it documented online for the SAME problem I have....."CRACK IN THE FLOOR OF TUB". WHY WOULD A COMPMNAY SELL A PRODUCE WITH SO MANY COMPLAINTS AGAINST IT... THEN REFUSE TO SPEAK TO THAT COMPANY ABOUT CONCERNS....I have deal effectively with other companies like KENTand RONA in the past about smaller issues ...THEY show respect and interest in the consumer......not the same at SMTH'S HOME HARDWARE !!!!!

After one day of plugging in our brand new Frigidaire fridge, we immediately noticed the freezer…read moredoor wasn't sealing properly. My Mother, a senior l, saved 2 months to buy this fridge. We were charged a $40 delivery fee for only a few streets away, that is fine I guess. When we contacted the store only a couple of days after receiving the fridge, we were told we had to deal strictly through the warranty. This was unbelievable to us as we wanted to support local and bought it within our community only to find out this. We have been dealing with Frigidaire for over 10 days now of trying to lock in a service man in our area. We were subjected to a service company in Quebec, Les Ateliers Paquette Inc. I have never been subjected to such an ignorant and rude customer service in my life! We were treated poorly by her right out of the gate, given attitude, talked over constantly to the point we simply hung up! To say we will never make another purchase from our local Home Hardware, is an understatement. The fact that we were simply dismissed after spending over $1000.00 om a new fridge only to be tossed within days, that they can't help us, is pathetic! Poor service all around! My Mother has been stressed out all week and I have been constantly on the phone trying to get her a service man! We finally got one today and surprise, the door is faulty and needs replacing. It should have been taken back the same day we called HH and given a new one. No customer should be subjected to this kind of treatment or service! No one called us back to see if anything was resolved either. Not impressed at all and we will definitely pass this along to our friends, family and our neighbors so they don't make the same mistake.
