Update: We tried multiple dishes now. Currywurst, beetroot, apple with kale and almost all entrees…read more The beetroot for 9€ is a 5 star dish. Rest is nicely done but tastes ok Menu: The menu has 4-5 appetizers listed and 4-5 entrees and 3-4 desserts. Basically small number of dishes to choose from. Menues change over Time though! Orders and meals: We ordered beetroot (rote Beete) - 10€. Fantastic dish! Nicely served and absolute tasty. Definitely recommend Main course we had the duck and the Dinkel bread (10€) with paprika. Skip the dinkelbread it was ok, but the duck was great (can't believe that was even vegan). The duck skin and the dish tasted great (15€) Price: For vegan, the location and quality of food I think it's reasonable. The portion sizes are ok but could be slightly bigger. Every entree is around 10-16€, you won't get full by just ordering an entree. Every appetizer ranges between 5-10€. So you can expect to pay 20-30€ with a drink for a evening dinner at this place. Is it worth it? - if you are a vegan: 100%. If you are not, definetly worth an experience you won't be fully Disappointed but might wanna try other

Gourmet food made with care. Nothing over-the-top or "shi-shi", just focus on quality, taste and experience - which I really like! Prices are average for the style of restaurant and the area. Service is nice and professional. Setting is a bit dim and antique creating a relaxed yet interesting atmosphere. Really nice place overall!

Love this place. Little Green Rabbit is a chain, but this one is quite inviting…read more I was in the area, looking for a place to eat for lunch when I saw this place. It was the green umbrellas and seating outdoors that called to me. Unfortunately, like other outdoor dining areas in Europe, smoking is allowed. I just knew I would have to deal with that if I wanted to sit outside. I already saw a few people smoking. When you walk into the restaurant, the menu is posted on the wall behind the counter. It's a casual environment. As the name suggests, the food is vegetarian. Posted on the menu are stuffed baked potatoes, soups, salads, and juices. Bottled drinks in a refrigerator to the side. Tall table seating indoors. The salads are either small or large. I ordered a small quinoa salad and grabbed a bottled pomegranate tea from the refrigerator. While the gentleman rung me up at the register, someone else put my salad together. All fresh ingredients in a bowl. Glad I decided on a small because large is way too much food. A rabbit can only eat so much in one sitting. My drink was good and salad delicious. I used the restroom before I left, which is on the right hand side, through the side door. Had to mention it because the ladies room is a tiny stall for one. Cashless, so don't forget to bring your credit card.

Little Green Rabbit is a truly great cafe. What the offer is a very nice selection of vegetarian…read moresalads, soups, and potatoes. That's pretty much it. But, that's truly enough, as what they prepare is all very-very good. The way this restaurant is designed is that you walk inside, decide what you want from their menu, and you order it at the counter. No cash. Only card. Then, it is prepared very quickly. I mean, they really do a great job of preparing each dish very fast. In terms of seating, for their interior they have a couple of long group tables and some two person tables along their wall. Me, that's where I like to sit. They also have a large amount of outdoor tables. Most of these table have umbrellas, so it is a great place to sit if you want to enjoy the air. The one problem I have with sitting at their outdoor tables is the same problem I have with virtually all of the restaurants in Berlin, they allow to people to smoke at these tables. One would think, at a vegetarian restaurant, they would not allow smoking. But, I have even witnessed staff members taking a break and going out there for a smoke. This is just something to keep in mind. Normally, I too prefer to sit outside, but I hate to have my eating experience diminished by someone smoking next to me. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. The food is very good. They staff are all very nice. And, you walk away feeling as if you have actually done something very good for your body.

As an visitor from the U.S., I was craving authentic German cuisine on our first night in Berlin…read more Since our hotel was in the shopping district of Berlin, we had less than a 15-minute walk to get to Berlinchen. Upon arrival, we were asked where we wanted to sit, though we were advised that sitting outside was cooler than sitting inside. So we did just that. As they receive many tourists, they had the ingredients in English under each dish. Our server was friendly and showed us all the photos of the dishes on his iPad, which was helpful as we were not familiar with many of the dishes. He also let us know what items were not included on the menu and showed us the photos. We all ordered still water (in bottles), the Berliner Weisse, and beers. For myself, I ordered the Beef Gulasch with egg noodles (Rinder-Gulasch mit Pilzen & Spatzle). My husband ordered the giant currywurst with french fries (Berliner Currywurst XL mit Pommes frites). My parents ordered a salad and one of the non-menu special dishes that had pork loin, gulasch, bean sprouts, and mashed potatoes. The Rinder-Gulasch mit Pilzen & Spatzle had an enormous portion of egg noodles compared to the amount of the beef gulasch. However, since the gulasch was on the saltier side, eating the gulasch along with heaping amounts of the egg noodles helped balance out the taste. The beef was also tender and paired well with the texture of the egg noodle. The Berliner Currywurst XL mit Pommes frites was... interesting. I was expecting the currywurst to have a meaty texture, but when I bit into it, I found the texture spongey like tofu. If I was told the currywurst was vegan, I would have believed it. I think they should have included more of the sauce (ketchup) that came with it, but again, this is Germany, and you have to request and pay for anything extra here. My husband, who typically eats heavy, could not finish this plate as we were all sampling each other's food and he really liked my Rinder-Gulasch. When we come back to Berlin, we would love to try the other items on their menu. I highly recommend this place!
