I love this office,, more often than not. My sons went there for many years and besides some aggravating wait times, had great service!

This was on my follow-up appointment on February 14th, 2024. I could not see anything out of my left eye. My concerns were ignored by all individuals involved. I was treated extremely rudely. The response was. We'll see you tomorrow to do surgery on your next eye. I explained to them again I could not see out of my left eye and I did not want to proceed with the right eye until the left eye was corrected. They did not have any concern or care for loss of vision in my left eye. They kept trying to proceed with the surgery on my right eye the next day which I refused. They angrily canceled my surgery. I have never in my 66 years of life been treated so bad at a medical facility. I went to Oklahoma City to have my Right eye done at another eye center. I would not recommend young eye institute to anyone based off of my experience there. It was totally unprofessional.

She was extremely nice and personable. Let me tell you: the music they were playing was super well-received by me. Usually it's boring music at offices such as this: here it was 90s and 00s alternative. Great touch! Savannah called my name and we started with all the tests and such. Honestly, I couldn't ask for a better person at an eye clinic. She was super nice, personable, and helpful. She totally understood my concerns and really made the experience great. Once we were done with initial testing, she left to update Dr. Greene on my concerns. Dr. Greene was absolutely excellent. She really put my care and concerns on the primary and let me choose how to proceed. No pressure, no talking down to me, just a great doctor. Bonus points: both Dr. Greene and Savannah were in masks and completely understood why I was masked up the entire time. Once we decided on a plan, it was time to pick out glasses. The glasses lady (I'm sorry, I can't remember her name) was very nice. However, I wish she had a bit more feedback for me. It took her a bit to really offer suggestions. The other thing was that the frames I was shown were pretty pricey. I'm not sure if any lower priced frames were offered here, and I will totally admit that was a bit on me. I like my glasses. I'm still in adjustment phase (think: the floor is convex oh no!); however, when I went to pick up my glasses, Savannah was at the front desk and helped me with my concerns about my new contacts. She took time to get lenses out and was quick to make adjustments to my contact prescription based on my preference and experience with the first pair. I'm wearing my 2nd pair of trial contacts, and my prescription will be based on what I like. Yay! I'm really into the 30 day trial run. No more settling!

Receptionist claims she can see where a reschedule text was sent yet all we received was a confirmation text. Perhaps you guys should call patients to confirm you're on the same page. My wife and I both have very demanding jobs and had to move mountains to make this appointment today only to find this and waste leave time from work... Go somewhere more professional, folks!!!

That means you are either incompetent or just disseminating incorrect information for your own purposes. Either way I would not trust you to carry a bag of garbage to the bin. You refuted the information below and said It was an issue of angle only. 20/25 vision represents a slight difference in visual acuity (clarity), not an angle. It means you must be at 20 feet to see what a person with standard 20/20 vision can see from 25 feet away. It indicates slightly below-average vision--usually manageable without glasses--where objects may appear slightly less sharp.  SHARPEVISION MODERN LASIK & LENS +3 Key Aspects of 20/25 Vision * Definition: You see at 20 feet what is considered normal at 25 feet. * Clarity, Not Angles: It measures how well you resolve fine details, with 20/25 being slightly less sharp than the 20/20 standard. * Context: While 20/20 is average, 20/25 is generally considered functional for daily life, often not requiring correction, though it may be caused by minor astigmatism, slight myopia, or dry eyes. * Comparison: 20/15 is sharper than 20/20 (you see at 20ft what others see at 15ft), while 20/25 is less sharp.  SHARPEVISION MODERN LASIK & LENS +4 What the Numbers Represent * Top Number (20): The testing distance in feet (standard eye exam distance). * Bottom Number (25): The distance at which a person with "normal" vision can see the same line.  SHARPEVISION MODERN LASIK & LENS +3 While 20/25 vision can mean a slight decrease in sharpness, it is generally not classified as "poor" vision.  Northwest Eye +1
