When I spoke with Emilio he said he had cleared it with his manager and would be able to get me $22K for the car. When I arrived I was told that Emilio was at the call center, not on site. I was offered $18K & finally negotiated up to $19,500. They said there had to do an inspection & replace the windshield. I wasn't going to leave a review. But then Tony, sent me a text about leaving a review. I told him what I already stated above. He was defensive in stating they are in the business to make money. Do not I repeat do not buy a vehicle or finance through Bacliff auto. These people are straight up crooks. Sold me a car motor went out not even a month later. Called and asked about it. They ignored my calls sent me straight to voicemail. Almost the whole staff I talked to barely spoke English. Then when I finally got a answer they said they'll find me one they never found one. Months later still nothing tried to make a payment and they ignored my call again. Walked outside one morning the car is gone they towed cause of insurance but there was insurance on the car. They sent me a paper in the mail today saying I have to pay the full amount to get the car back or there going to sell it. So please for the love of God please don't go here. Terrible dealership, I bought a used 2017 f150 from here. Only 86k miles, and the month after I bought it the check engine light comes on. So I took it back to them and they replaced 1 ignition coil and 1 spark plug. You're supposed to change them all at once. A couple days after the check engine light comes back on so I take it back to them and they said they fixed it, in about 100 miles the light comes back on ( the average amount of time it takes for the check engine light to reset). So I called back up there and they said I'm on my own as I didn't buy the overpriced $3,000 extended warranty they tried to offer me, that I didn't think I'd need because the truck only had 86k miles. So I took it to a mechanic near me and the overall price to get the truck back in working order is $3,800. So IF you do not take my warning and buy a car from here, at least buy their overpriced extended warranty. That I'm sure will deny your claims after you inevitably do have problems with your vehicle you buy from here. Seriously, save your money and go with an actual dealership and save yourself the trouble. I really wish I had saved up a little more money for a down payment on a Toyota or Honda from a real dealership. I purchased a truck and was told that I was getting a bumper to bumper warranty not even the full month gone by and the truck is leaking oil and coolant I was told to take it to a deal in the area to see what it needed they gave me the run around had me speak to "uriel" the person in charge and he basically said he didn't know what to say then they authorize the work and stuck me with 3k bill I wish I would have read the reviews first I would have 100% took my bussiness elsewhere!!! Found a car online and spoke to Harold for a few days and finally made it out there Saturday and drove an hour and a half to go down there to look at a truck. I told Harold many times what my down payment would be and where I wanted my payments. Against my better judgment of what I know of small used car lots I went. Called and spoke to dealership employee and explained that I had $1000.00 cash down towards a $3500.00 car and that my wife and I had to take an UBER to the dealership. When we arrived, we were greeted by the same employee I spoke to on the phone and were informed, "Someone else is interested in the vehicle, but you are here and they are not. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED." We took a test drive, and went into the office to start paperwork. Provided all the documentation required and were about to sign and give the salesman $1000.00 CASH, and were told" I am sorry but someone CALLED IN and put a deposit on the vehicle so we can not sell it to you!" REALLY???? No one told me they accepted deposits over the phone. I am standing in your dealership with cash and a filled out contract .....NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!! There's a reason this company has 2.5 stars. They had a NissannCrossCabriolet I saw on Cars.com. I called after hours and left all my contact information. I clearly communicated that I just needed the order so I could arrange for the funds to be transferred. I got two calls the next different from two different sales people. Neither spoke English very well and my Spanish is no bueno. I got zero information from them all morning called mid afternoon only be made the same promise. Finally I got a different person at around 3 who told me they just sold the car. Totally bad communication. I do think I'm lucky that I didn't get the car. I would NOT trust this dealer. read more

I waited to write a review because, with any used car purchase, there are bound to be one or two things that show up after purchase. We purchased a 2009 Nissan Xterra from Bacliff Auto two weeks ago. The night we brought the car home, we discovered a large chunk missing out of one tire. Took the car back the next morning, and they arranged for us to get a (used) tire from a shop in South Houston. Only a 30 minute drive each way. They paid for the tire, and we were fine with that. The following Monday, I took the car to Discount Tire to have the rest of the tires checked. Turns out two of them were completely bald on the inside, so those had to be replaced immediately. The other two will need replacement within a month or so. $268 now, and again in a month. Two days ago, my husband was in Humble. He got in the car, and the gear shift was completely loose. It wouldn't shift into any gear. Stuck in park. We had to have the car towed to Deer Park ($145), to find out that the bushing had cracked on the shifter cable, and the cable was fraying. ($314). Picked up the car yesterday, and today on the way home, the right front wheel started grinding. Brakes and rotors? Or is it a wheel bearing? I don't even want to think about how much... And yes, I get it, it's a used car. And apparently you have to expect to put some money into a used car as soon as you buy it....but, I wouldn't be buying from this location if I had money to spare, now would I? Knowing that their customers are often in dire straits, why, I wonder, would a business not provide even a 30 day warranty, so that issues like this don't occur? Update: In looking at their reviews on Google and other sites, most are positive regarding their customer service. I am going to see them tomorrow, and give them a chance rectify the situation. They were responsive to the tire issue. We'll see what happens. Update: They were extremely helpful, and handled the situation professionally! Thankful for the help. We went to Kelley Blue book and got a quick quote to sell our car out right and bacliff was sent to us as a dealer that was interested in our car we went down there and they told us that our car had been flooded even though that we were the original owners of the car and never experienced any flood with our car they offered us $500 for it. We then went to the second dealer that Kelly sent us and they said there is nothing wrong with our car there's no carfax report of a flood and there's no signs of a flood and they offered us $1,300 for our 2005 Corolla... Bought a 2018 Chevy Colorado from these guys with low miles. I'd been looking for awhile and this was a decent deal and close to my house. When I test drove the truck it was showing a low tire on the dash and was assured if I bought it would be fixed before I picked it up. Wrong. When I showed up with money 3 days later, low tire still showing. Salesman attempted to air up tire before I left but still showed low on dash. Why? Because as I found out after I got it home, someone had changed the tires around on truck without resetting their location in TPMS computer. Low tire was actually in back, not in front as it was showing on the dash. They would have known this if they had spent a few minutes fixing the problem. Might have even found the Big nail in tire. Carpet was sopping wet on driver side because A/C drain hose was pulled loose. Again, easy fix if they had spent a little time checking out the truck. They did stick in a number of strawberry air freshener cards to mask the musty odor. French fries and candy wrappers under front seat. Trash in bed of truck. One remote doesn't work. Low on oil. Wonder what else is wrong that I haven't found yet. What car dealer, no matter how crappy, doesn't correct a low tire situation especially when they apparently used the vehicle to run around in before they sold it? Or dry out the wet carpet? Or check the oil? So far, can't say they are dishonest-- just lazy, sloppy, incompetent. Not interested in happy customers, just their money. Or maybe they don't know anything about cars and trucks.
