My next door neighbor has a gated access. We had the fence between us removed so my clean up was done through his yard. He had hired these people and that is why I went with them at the same time. I feel totally ripped off. Especially after I called and told them about the problems and was told "this is the first time I am watching the news this week" and didn't want to talk to me about it. I have not heard back from them. Clean up was part of the cost, even written on the contract twice as he knew how important it was to me. It was done very poorly. Broken and crushed stepping stones, small tree debris all over my small yard. The stump left is unevenly cut and about a foot tall. The cost for the tree and a half was way more than my neighbor paid for his 7 1/2 and he had stump grinding done on 5 of his. He had a lot of wood chips left but not the small branches, smashed concrete pieces, broken fence pieces that I did. They knew I am not only a senior lady but have some disabilities and that I have to hire help with the yardwork. He's the guy you want doing your tree work and you'll know that immediately. He came to my home to give me an estimate soon after I called him, and he was extremely polite and professional, and walked my wife and me through options, educating us along the way. Then, today, he and his team arrived (on time, by the way), and were, again, polite and professional, and did a very professional job. They removed two trees and pruned one, and everything looks great. They cleaned up during and afterward, and did everything safely, and with the right tools for the job. As for price, I thought his estimate was very reasonable, but I actually don't know how he compares to others price-wise, because I didn't call anyone else. If you have Travis come and give you an estimate, you won't call anyone else either. This is the guy you want.
