I do love a good dive bar however it is so dark in this establishment even on a Monday during the day to the point where I had to use the flashlight on my phone to try to see the drink menu. And we had two different bartenders making our drinks and I can handed them. Tell you that they literally tasted like two completely different drinks. Consistency is important And at that point it made us just want to switch to beers. We ended up ordering some appetizers because of course drinking goes hand-in-hand with food and the tuna was the wrong temperature. First timer here! The vibe is very laid back with tons of TV's. I went in with the bar food attitude, but was pleasantly surprised. The chicken Philly was delicious. It was fresh and had the perfect amount of cheese. The fries were crispy and hot! My husband had the Shepard's pie and said it was amazing!! The Shepard's pie was enough for 2 meals. Inflation has not found Dead Bobs! The drinks were cheap and the meals are priced at what they used to be before everything went through the roof. Dead Bob's Too is a convenient watering hole and dive bar if you're in the South Tampa and Westshore area. Prices are extremely reasonable across the board for food and drink. They serve typical bar food and its satisfying enough for a quick bite. Definitely not gourmet, which is to be expected for a divey sports bar. They also offer daily food specials. And the drinks are stiff if that's your thing. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Although the space itself is not terribly big, I like that the indoor seating opens up to the outside so its not a place you'll feel too claustrophobic or nervous being around people because of Covid. If you're looking for a good burger and fries, this is the place to go. The burgers are MASSIVE and very reasonably priced, (they taste great too!), and the fries have the perfect thick-to-crispy ratio. The blackened salmon is also super tasty, and it's a really large portion considering the price. I'm not a big fan of the rice that comes with it, though--it's not very flavorful--so I recommend substituting it for something else. The boneless wings are just okay; they're a bit greasy and not something I'd order again. And the grilled chicken sandwich is fine, but it's nothing to write home about; it's comparable to any other chicken sandwich you'd get at a typical bar and grill. This place has quick service, but do note that the restaurant is a bit loud because there are so many people packed into a small space. (It's not uncomfortably packed; it's just sometimes hard to hear yourself talk if you're like me and don't have a super loud voice ). But overall, this is a solid spot for a late-night dinner. We loved the St. Pete location because dogs were allowed. This location doesn't allow dogs?? On a patio?! Dogs are people's family now. We strategically seek places with a patio to bring our dog. Ventured here for the first time since it's an S. Tampa location. The atmosphere was good. Ordered the cuban pork plate. Should've gone with a burger since it's their specialty. The mojo pork was dry and had no flavor. The service was good even though I didn't receive any eating utensils in my order. I may go back to try a burger, and then again, we'll see. read more

Came here for the first time the other night during the Lightning game. The atmosphere was "game like". The folks were pretty friendly. The drink I had was soso. But the wings... the WANGS, was on point! Lol. We had the blackened dry rub. I was told that I HAD to try them. I was not disappointed at all! They were nice n hot and flavorful. The fries are really good also! Nice and crispy. So from what I hear, all of the food is pretty good. So I will be trying more of the food. They used to have the BEST wings in Tampa but on our last visit the wings were smaller than my thumb and the hot buffalo sauce (which was the BEST in Tampa) tasted as bland as a buffalo sauce could be.
