They provided me with the immediate care that I needed. I am grateful for all that they did for me and my family. In addition, Dr. Bethany Roy was my doctor on Farr 11. She and her staff were amazing! They helped me understand my medical conditions. They provided me with the tests I required at the time, and they set up future medical appointments. I appreciate all that they did for me.

They put a stent in and all last week did the work up for the clearing of her arteries. Blood test ekg scan blood work and the cardiac doctor penciled her in for a caf this past Monday. I did not know they rotate out doctors. In comes this Anne Marie Anosropoulos. She sees my mom for all of ten minutes and declines the precedure We did everything needed to get her to do the caf . Come Monday. They switch to another doctor. They are now saying no. They said they were bringing in a third party for independent review. That was bullshit . We have waited all day and exhausted. They rotate doctors so you are not talking to the one following her the first week. This place is more running around with these young people and put zero care into the patients. She had no history or knowledge or anything. My mom didn't have an iv. At the end of the day she comes in and asks. I said why. Where were you all all day ? She than proscribed nausea medicine that could cause another heart I code r. I asked her to out in place dnr. It still haven't been done. I'm not happy. We wasted all last week. Why didn't they keep her in urology. She still has a huge d Kidney stone. Okaxe is pathetic . Go to mass general. Please avoid this place at all costs. They don't care at all and I'm exhausted trying to get their attention. Come here if you want a family member to die. They care more about teaching f than the actual patient. I am going to move her to mass general This place Is terrible. Please don't come here

I received no less than 6 emails and texts to remind me of the appointment and to pay the copay, which I prepaid online. After I left work early and waited 1.5 hr at BMC, someone came to tell me that they cannot see me today because they did not receive the images from my prior mammogram, and I needed to reschedule. You couldn't have told me that 1.5 hr ago? I could've contacted the other clinic within the last 1.5 hr to have them send the images over. Whose responsibility is it to get the images? When I booked the appointment, I made sure to tell them my original mammogram was from another clinic. No one followed up with me. No one asked me to sign a release. They sure sent me enough reminders to get their money though. When I asked for my money back, I had to wait to "talk to the manager." They could not give me my money back, but told me to call the 800 number for BMC's billing dept. No, thank you! I'm not wasting any more of my time with BMC. I just disputed the charge with my credit card. This is not the standard of care that I would expect even at a small local rundown hospital, let alone what they claim they are at BMC. If you are looking for a high standard of care and a team that follows up and follows through, BMC is not it. My husband also had many bad experiences with BMC making appointments in the wrong department and cancelling on him without notice. When you are dealing with cancer or potential cancer patients, it doesn't seem to matter to them. Time is not of the essence. As long as they get their money, they're all good. Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else. There are much better hospitals in Boston.

I attended this hospital as a foreigner on my first trip to America having seeing swelling on my…read moreson's head having no previous obvious bump or bruise to cause the swelling. I went in as a mom expecting horrific news that my baby had some sort of brain condition etc. unfortunately, I was met with doctors who made false determinations that's my baby had "blood in his ear" which is allegedly "rare" and caused by a "blow to the head" to then be told no there's no blood and so on. I was then told he had "multiple" skull fractures, to then having "two", to then having ONE hairline COMMON fracture. I had to meet social workers and threatened that if I left the hospital I would have a child abuse claim filed against me if I didn't allow a full body x-ray of my son happen. This was my first time in America and my baby was extremely healthy and like all baby's threw himself around but did not cause any injury to suspect the accusations made against me, he had no bruising or anything of the sort to require a social worker. My baby had to undergo a fully body x-ray to prove he had no other fractures to his body or else I was going to have to deal with a child abuse case. My little boy screamed throughout the whole thing as the man doing the x-ray repeatedly touched or pressed on his sore head despite me telling him not too. As suspected no other injuries were found on my baby. As a mom, I was, and still am weeks later absolutely traumatised from the fear instilled in me for the false abuse claims and the MULTIPLE false inaccurate results by doctors. Thankfully, at the end I met the child abuse specialist and doctor who said they could not understand where these false claims came from and my son did NOT have blood or "multiple" fractures. He had a very common hairline fracture and nothing of the sort relating to abuse. I am so thankful to them for proving my case but months on the absolute fear and trauma stays with me. I went in thinking my baby had been hurt and the guilt of a mom to not see it is bad enough to be then be falsely accused of "blood in the ear from a blow" that didn't even exist, to the absolute trauma of fearing my baby would be taken from me for something I didn't do. I'm thankful for the professionals who saw the real results but that trauma of what I experienced will never leave me. I went in being a caring mum and left feeling like a criminal and the worst mother ever. I will never forget my horrendous experience and it still keeps me up at night over a month later. You take your baby to hospital thinking you are doing the right thing to be treated like an abuser. I will be forever haunted by my experience at this hospital.
