We were lucky to find Romantik Hotel Auberge de Campveerse Toren. They had a nicely set up outdoor area with comfortable chairs and umbrellas but inside the hotel & upstairs there was a cozy pub with nice dark woods and lush red & purple velvet chairs The Mr & I scored a table right beside the window with a lovely view towards the water, the docks & passing sailboats Fries with mayo & 2 dark beers were the choice for the snacking & those fries were perfect. Crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. The mayo had a yummy tart quality that paired very well with the fries. The beers were bold, smooth with a slight nutty undertone - perfect fry partner! The room was packed with happy people, celebrating the day & good friendship. This was a wonderful stop!
